Its a good book but i got bored halfway through. The idea of it is fantastic but in my opinion goes too slow and the climax isnt as exciting as i thought it would be. But if you like fantasy and have a LOT of patience give it a read. Its not for everybody, just not for me.

I genuinely can't stop laughing when reading it.
This volume was just as fun and hilarious as the first. I love that the characters are slowly getting more depth.I liked the artwork here better than Vol. 1, then the story impressed me further.

I've gone through the reviews expecting to see some 3/5 and 4/5, however I am happily mistaken. It seems everyone loves this book as much as I do, it was fast paced, brilliant humour, a pug for Christ sakes!
The only reason why I didn't give this a 5/5 was because at the beginning it didn't hook me, don't get me wrong it's a great plot but about a quarter way through i didn't think "okay I need to read more" because it didnt hook me (at the time). But once the ball got rolling it had everything that's needed for a brilliant book

This is one of the books that you can't put down, because I couldn't. It's not like I HAD to finish it, because I didn't feel like I needed to know what happened. I finished it because I wanted to be back in the world, I felt no desire to I just missed them. If that makes sense? With TFIOS I had to finish it because I had to find out what happened, but with this book I wanted to carry on.
Despite its short length it got a lot into it, I personally liked the writing style as it gets you into his way of thinking which immersed me. The whole plot was just so intricate, I wished it was longer but then again it would ruin it if it carried on meaningless. Ill just have to watch the film.

I am a massive fan of Dana Burky's with her Hearts to Follow series, and was excited to read her new one as I loved her writing style so much.
I managed to read this in one sitting and it was a good read, the style of writing felt like a young teenager was talking (which hopefully was the aim). I was expecting it to be a bit longer so I could get to know the characters a bit better, I would like to maybe see a plot of some sort evolve from this, maybe just a small one or something? We get little anecdotes which are nice because you feel involved.
For the first book it's brilliant and I'm moving swiftly into the second.

One of the things that I love about this book is the extremely short chapters. It just felt overall easier and quicker to read.
It drew me in with every aspect, from the murders to the backstory and the dialogue kept me intrigued. It all cleverly linked in within the last few chapters which was great but I think it would've given it 5/5 if the answers were wide spread. To me it just felt rushed- action pack and good rushed- but rushed never the less.

But very good, brilliant even and I'm looking forward to reading the next book Pop Goes The Weasel

This took me a while to read, not because of its contents but of the lack of time I had.
Some parts may have been long and tedious for my taste, as I'm often inpatient, however others were lovely!
Im a big sucker for romance and Eliza and Darcy are just as sweet as tea, then again Jane and Bingely are as well. The choices the choices!
The characters were brilliant, ranging from the passive mr Bennett to the high strung ad theatrical mrs Bennett, to the pride and prejudice, it was an excellent read.

A very cute story which brought me back to my early childhood

This made me, a 16 year old girl, giggle a lot.
It's endearing nature and story is heartwarming as well as really clever.
I would read this anytime anywhere really
