This is a book I've reread a few times, and it always stands up as a great bit of horror/science fiction. I'd highly recommend Derek Jacobi's narration!

Not my favourite of Hendrix's books, but I absolutely loved the main character and the use of music throughout the book. Unfortunately, the plot didn't hold together well in certain places.

I have been hearing great things about Old Man's War for years and am so glad I took the plunge. It's darkly funny with emotional depth and is an absolutely amazing concept. I don't always get on with military sci-fi, but I am definitely going to continue with this series.
