This one was unfortunately not quite my cup of tea. I didn’t get drawn into the story or the characters.
Its a good book, but man is it bleak. I think I'll give this a try another time, but at the moment it's just too grim for my brain.
DNFed at page 253.
Its not you, it's me. There's a lot to love about this book if you're the right reader for it, but unfortunately I am not that reader. The plot dragged, the characters were so dull, and the dialogue was absolutely cringe. Will do a proper review later, but this is a big miss for me.

It's a contemporary YA novel that's pretty evenly split between romance and thriller. The romance rubbed me the wrong way and the thriller bits weren't keeping me interested. I think this will work much better for contemporary YA readers.
