This book is hot. From the moment Sloane and Levi meet the sparks fly. And when they get together... steam comes of the page! The story does develop into more than then letting off steam with sizzling hot sex, and it turns sweet and emotional pretty quick. Great read!

I loved this book so much. Every story I read about the Fireballs, about Copper Valley, I fall in love with the universe more and more. This one had my crying with laughter within the first chapter, and so often later as well! Brooks and Mackenzie are amazing people, and I especially love that they’re relatable, even if Brooks is a hotshot baseball player. They’re both fun, a little bit weird, crazy, and it makes me so happy that they’re happy now!

I really wanted to like this, but I just couldn’t. Aiden is the only reason I even added the second star, he tried to be open and to communicate, but Maddie only gave him reactions in return that she thought he wanted. That’s not how a relationship works. Maddie acts like the world revolves around her, and it’s so annoying! Aiden made all the steps in their relationship, and she gets mad when he does exactly what she tells him even if she wants something else. He’s not a mind reader!! But she clearly thinks he is. Not that he’s perfect either. The big romantic moment where he realises he can’t live without her, quits his dream job and flies back to her only made me mad at him too. Maybe in part because I don’t like Maddie, but also because quitting dream jobs for someone else is NOT something to do without a conversation about it. The epilogue redeemed him a little bit, since he got his job back, but that was too little too late at that point.

What a beautiful story. The journey of Noah and Alexis is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I can’t say I can relate to Alexis, but I really hope that I have even a part of her strength and her compassion. Towards Elliott, towards Candi, towards everybody. She goes through her own struggles, but doesn’t shy away from love and she helps Noah heal as well. The book club did it again!

Cute, quick read, even if the plot went a bit too quickly for my liking. Meeting, falling in love, fighting, lives falling apart and a happy ending all within the two weeks that Wimbledon is? It was still very entertaining, and it would have been four stars if the match details were more accurate. I’m sorry, but it just took me out of the story!

Some books just grip you from the first page, and this was definitely one of those. It felt like my heart was being squeezed tight and I just couldn’t stop reading until I was done! A perfect book for a Sunday on the sofa!

This book made me so hungry, all the descriptions of the delicious food! I loved reading Cole’s chapters, but something felt missing for me when reading Willow’s side, but can’t quite put my finger on it what it was. Together they’re great, and the fast-paced plot kept everything flowing smoothly!

I. Love. Pippa Grant. Books. I’ve been reading this series out of order, but since each book is a standalone, that’s okay. I loved Ellie and Wyatt, their history, their future, their now. Life never goes how it’s planned, and that’s what made this book so strong. It isn’t about the troubles life hit them both with, it’s their process to overcome this and find a way to keep going, curses be damned!
