I really loved this story, even if I don’t often like the surprise baby trope. This time, it was really well written, and Nate and Emme were great together! I always like reading both sides of the story, it makes it all feel more complete!

I love James Bond, and it was great to have them bond (haha get it) over the movies! I was so happy that Emme was defending Skyfall and Daniel Craig’s 007, and I wanted to slap Nate for his opinions, so I knew I was in for a treat!

What a great read! It was a fast paced, stranger to lovers romance, and made me laugh several times. Noelle’s reasoning for her choices were understandable from the get-go, and fun to read how it affected her choices and her struggles to accept her feelings towards Malcolm. I wished we got more of an understanding early on why Malcolm saw himself as such a bad man, a villain, but I’m glad we did get the explanation in the end, and the last third of the book was so good that I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish the story! This was my first read by Annika Martin, and I’m definitely going to be reading the other books in this series soon!

Another home run! I’m a big fan of Lucy Score’s style and this story was another amazing one. I love Ally, she’s such a strong, independent woman who isn’t afraid to open her mouth and stand up for herself, but she isn’t without flaws. Her past made it hard to put faith and trust in others, to decide when it’s okay to ask for help and when you’re the only one who can handle something? Always difficult!
Dominic, the grumpy boss idiot, was amazing! Be still my heart! Also definitely not flawless and haunted by his past, or more his father’s, went through his own struggles, and even though it took him a while to realise what had to be done, he got there in the end!
The bonus epilogue was everything to wrap up the story so well. Them having a family that included adopted children shows very clearly that a family is more than just blood, and i loved it! Also the way Ally and Dominic are raising their children is so important, to teach them about consent. These conversations start at home and I’m so glad to see it in fiction!

I love the fake relationship trope, and To Love did not disappoint! I really liked Olivia and Aiden, both separately and together. They bring out the best in each other, and slowly learn that it’s okay to have their weaker side on show. They grow together, and their love makes the world around them better. However, I did get confused now and then about which parts of their relationship were fake and which were real, as confused as they were themselves. There were plenty loops and roadblocks on their way to happiness, maybe one or two too many for me, but the plot moved very quickly and it was an easy read!

Books by Pippa Grant are starting to become my go-to when I need to be sure I’ll read a great book! This one was no exception, I laughed out loud several times, and the story made me so happy. The road to the happy ever after was more emotional than I expected, and it was a great road to be on! I definitely couldn’t put it down, and stayed up way too late to finish it!

The Novel Approach

Heather Guimond

DID NOT FINISH: 20%

The inner voice was too annoying and repetitive to keep going. I quit after five chapters
