This book started as a great college sports romance, and I absolutely loved how much Milly loves baseball. I’m always happy when I get to read a book with a woman who loves sports. Carson and her are the cutest together! And then at around 2/3 of the book it just broke me. It started tugging on my heart strings, for very personal reasons, and I was a blubbering mess for the rest of it. I had a proper ‘hug my book’ moment when I finished reading, I loved it!

I’m so happy to have read this book! I loved the combination of the action, adventure and romance. Getting lost in the jungle never sounded like such a good time! It’s a great standalone novel, with enough open ends that make me very curious about the next book!

I liked it, but it wasn’t my favourite book by her. I can’t even really explain why, there were definitely good parts but I unfortunately also felt there was something missing for me to really enjoy it.

I absolutely love this series! High Risk Rookie is another great rollercoaster of a story, with all the best drama you can expect by now in these books. There was so much happening but it was the perfect balance between stress and swoon, between wtf and omg! I felt so much for Krista and everything she was dealing with with her family, and I’m so happy for her that Levi is in her corner. I was talking to my book several times trying to convince her that her family was in the wrong, not her!

Such an amazing audiobook! The full cast really made this fun story even better! It’s rare that I listen to an audiobook in a day, but I just couldn’t stop listening!

I adored this story! Casey and Hank are great, both separately and together. Their attraction is still so strong, even after all the time apart, and I loved how their pull was written. The story mixed up present and past really well, slowly making their complicated history clear, making their choices make sense. It takes a while for Hank to open up, but I felt his struggles with his survivor’s guilt so strongly that it was great to follow his journey of slowly opening his heart again and sharing to bad moments. This is such a great series! And the part where Hank comes over for pizza, omg, deserves all the steam flames!

I just didn’t like this audiobook. I can’t really describe why, it’s a mix of the narration, the story, my mood. I just kept arguing with both characters, because every single decision they made was the wrong one and it went on way too long. There were way too many assumptions made for me to enjoy the story.

I was so happy to be back in Bellamy Creek, it really felt like coming home. Beckett’s story was all about heart, about friendship and about love. It was a beautiful one, even in the moments I wanted to slap him so he would finally start thinking with his heart! I’m never a big fan of stories where communicating is the problem, but with them all the worries and struggles made complete sense and there was a great balance between the loving moments and the frustrating. And the epilogues hold me heart, Mr Weaver made me tear up with his beautiful words!

This book was such a rollercoaster! The only way to describe it is that it's like a soap opera, in the best way possible. There's so much happening, all the drama, but somehow it works so well!

It was a very easy read, the line between hate and love was a thin one. I liked it, but I felt the switch from hate to love happened a bit too sudden and easily.
