Cute little book! I had trouble with Greta’s love interest; I didn’t like her and couldn’t understand why Greta did. She wasn’t very well-written, but the other characters were! I loved how their flaws were all a part of their personalities, and they were lovable nonetheless.

Beautiful, emotional book about a woman recovering from maternal abuse and an eating disorder. I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did, but, alas…

I wish we’d gotten a bit more of Hector — his family, for example, his backstory. More of him! But this book was really cute and very fun to read. I enjoyed it, and it was a perfect segue into the holiday season!

Great writing, with such beautiful prose. Slow paced, but it felt fast. I loved this book, and its story of grief, forgiveness, and heartache will stick with me. 

I just do not think this book was for me. 

It took me a minute to get ahold of all of the characters, but once I did I really enjoyed this book! It was mysterious, magical, mystical! Everything you could want out of a book like this. 

Lovely book! I enjoyed it very much, though it was sad at times.
