I don’t know it wasn’t the best written, but I liked it. Romance building was lacking, but i was happy for the characters nonetheless.

I loved this book; genuinely heart wrenching story about a woman who finds herself divided between two true loves. It made me cry, it made me smile. It made me feel like everything was going to be okay! I loved the storyline, even though it was a bit flawed. And the characters themselves were morally/abjectly gray, but I found myself loving them anyway. The ending was sad, but also necessary. I enjoyed the way it ended.

A bit slow, found myself skipping over bits of it. But it’s very interesting, and it’s a relatively quick read that holds a host of information about how to grow and use plants for cocktails. I thought it was fun!

Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t a bad book. It’s just very…vapid. It was clearly written by somebody who doesn’t know much about feminism beyond “Shaving your legs is inherently patriarchal!” It’s fun, it’s lighthearted, and it’s easy to read; but it’s not very informative or detailed. Read as you would an opinion piece. Might be great for a woman just getting into feminism, or more accurately who has low self-esteem and is looking to change that. I can see my grandpa buying me this as a gift, if that helps reveal what type of book it is.
