I never really go for thriller books but I had to give it a try especially after hearing all the great reviews about The Whisper Man all over social media. And OMG this book lived up to the hype! It was so creepy, scary, but amazing all at the same time. I found myself thinking omg wtf is about to happen?! And the ending....amazing. I highly recommend & I will definitely be reading more thrillers from now on!

Oh my goodness, what a great book. This was the first book that I have read by Jojo and it will not be the last. I loved reading about five strong women who live in rural Kentucky in the late 1930s who are trying to keep up a mobile library in a small town but run into trouble along the way. Alice, an English woman, moves to America after falling in love with a man who owns and runs a mining company, she is soon to realize that after she moves to America with her new husband, she is fairly unhappy so she joins the local library to keep her busy. The library has started a program where the women would run books to people who live in the mountains to help educate them.

We have to remember that this is Kentucky in the 1930s and of course some people in the small town, including Alice's husbands father, had a huge issue with women running books all around the mountains to 'uncivilized people' and tries to do everything they can to stop these women from running a mobile library. I really did enjoy this novel, the bond that these women build is beautiful. They support and love each other through hard times and their determination to keep the library going to educate people that are living in the mountains, who can't even read at all, was amazing. The power of education is so REAL and POWERFUL.

I rated this book a 4 and not a 5 because the beginning was kind of slow for me and I kept waiting for it to get exciting - about 70 pages in and I was hooked. Other than that, I loved this book and the ending was absolutely perfect <3

OMG my heart literally broke reading this book. Toni Morrison is an amazing, astounding author and this is only the first book I've read by her; I am blown away. I was drawn to read this one first because it takes place in Lorain, Ohio, which is about 30min away from me and also where Toni Morrison grew up. This book has multiple viewpoints, which I love but a lot of the story is told from Claudia's perspective and how she observes the world, her friends, family, etc. Claudia has a friend named Pecola who believes and is told that she is ugly because of her dark skin and woolly hair and wishes for pretty blue eyes and blond hair like white people. She desperately wants to feel beautiful and be loved. This book tells the sad story of Pecola and her experiences all throughout her life. I loved this book, even though it broke my heart, I loved how Toni wrote this book, had me hooked from the first page. If you've never read a Toni Morrison book, I recommend you start with this one; it's her first novel and it is WELL DONE.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've been reading this series ever since it first came out and I have LOVED every single book that Ransom Riggs wrote, every book has been a new & exciting adventure. Except this book, I feel like the author fell flat with this one. I was honestly a little bored with it until the last few chapters; it's one of those books where I kept thinking, "Ok, when are things going to pick up?" Map of Days (book 4) left readers wanting more; there had been so much character development in the last two books, each peculiar changing and growing, maturing and each misson taught each peculiar an important lesson. I was excited where the author was going with it at the end of Map of Days but this next installment of the series, bored me. Loved the new romance aspect, the ending was good, but thats it. I heard the next book in the series is the last one so I am really hoping he ends it on a good note.

•Book Review!
Ok, y'all No Exit, stressed me out - and I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean it in a good thriller type of way.

Darby's mom is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and needs surgery so Darby drives to Utah in the middle of a blizzard to be with her mom. She ends up getting suck at a rest stop with 4 strangers. As she goes outside to find a cellphone signal, she finds a little girl locked in a cage inside of a van. One of the four people kidnapped this little girl and Darby is determined to find out who did it.

At first I thought this book was going to be predictable, you know who the bad guy is super early in the book which made me wonder why the author did that. As it turns out, this book was NOT predictable at all. No Exit has some serious twists and turns that I never saw coming - it was definitely an action-packed and suspenseful book. I wanted to yell at Darby as I was reading it, "RUN! RUN! OMG!"

Hey guys
