Great introduction to decolonizing archives. I wanted a bit more from it in terms of specific actions that could be done rather than just hints and tips. The book gets a bit repeative as the authors remind readers to communicate and collaborate with Indigenous communities in order to create accessible and meaningful spaces. Overall a good start to building up your knowledge about how to better serve Indigenous communities.

Love the stories in this book so much. You feel for the characters and get a little sense of magic with the horrors written about in this book.

The first chunk of this book was ok but it felt like a lot of problems were shoved into one rather than focusing on a single plot thread. The story started in the first few chapters os almost irrelevant towards the end. The story picks up towards the end of part 2 and into part 3 but I felt a little disconnected from the characters rather than wanting them to all end up happy.
I did enjoy the sci-fi apocalypse stuff towards the end and appreciated the lead up to it. There was a lot of talk about children and reproductive health for our main character Slaten to end up without a baby. I wanted just a bit more and I wanted ideas and themes that were mentioned repeatedly to mean something personal to the characters not just an overarching concept of the direction our world is heading.

Some of these stories went all over the place but I deeply enjoyed how each story led to the next. I enjoy that you can never really tell when Bukowski is being honest or when he is writing as if in a dream state narrating the nonsense his brain is coming up with.
The stories towards the end of this book were my favorites.

I enjoyed a lot of the concepts in this book. It gave me a lot to think about while also allowing me to reflect on moments in my life where my thoughts and beliefs did in fact impact the situations I was placed in or experienced.
This book helped me believe in my own power more and know that I can change my own life one thought at a time.
