This manga hurt me. I felt such a deep love and connection to the characters and felt their pain and intense emotions.
Definitely needed the plastic wrap around this one (18+).

This memoir was amazing! It made me ache and also made me think about my own experiences. The pain and healing expressed in this memoir were intense but the writing was PERFECT! I could not put this book down.
I thought this book was very helpful and provided thoughtful scenarios relating to different situations that could benefit from or involve accessioning.
Similar to others I wanted a bit more. Though this book discussed the harms in our society that affect actual wellness it was often repeative and didn't ever provide a way to form these bonds and trust with communities we don't identify with. This is not the only book I have read that avoided that how and instead hammered down on the why. Why do we need to change our mindset? Why do we need to remove ourselves from #wellness?
I want more of the how? What can we as individual people do? How can we create these communities?

I enjoyed this book but the audiobook formating was weird and I wasn't entirely sure if it was intentional or not. I am happy there was actual horror in this and not just "oh the person is just stressed or depressed."
Always a fan of Atwood. This book was heart wrenching and gorgeous and traumatizing all at once. I really felt for Snowman and his way of responding to the world around him. Can't wait to start the next one.

Another joy to read. This series is devastating but so enjoyable. Getting little hints of the first story was so fun in this one and now our parties have reached each other. Time to dive into the last of the series!
The writing was mediocre. I didn't feel connected to any of the characters in a meaningful way. Hard to even put into words all the ways this book let me down.
One way I will mention though is when it was noted that the zeniths were coming to their apartment but then nothing ever came of that. Why was Doug and Annie's relationship so special? There were a few plot points that just appeared but were never resolved. Like others I felt this book wasn't really sci-fi, just because you have a robot doesn't make something science fiction. And it felt more romance genre adjacent
