I really enjoyed this one. I would have liked the magical system to be a bit clearer, at times it felt a little vague and confused and im still not 100% on the reasoning behind some things. 

I think the pacing was a little slow/long and at times felt like the story needed to be moved on. 


But I did love the characters and where the story went. I loved the sisterly relationship, complex family dynamics and romance elements.

I was so excited for this one, the blurb itself was brilliant and the story had SUCH potential. Unfortunately it fell flat of my expectations. I felt like I was being told rather than shown a lot, and the enemies to lovers aspect needed work. At times the characters themselves felt quite superficial and under-developed. Because of this I didn’t finish it but it has all the makings of a brilliant book if it’s fleshed out and edited more.

I just didn’t feel like it was getting anywhere but also don’t believe in strangers a-bit-too-soon touching each other/being familiar when they’ve been on the bus they get for about 10 minutes 

A quick and easy read. The silent pauses whilst the characters are on the phone get a bit old because they’re in pretty much every conversation  🙃 but it’s an cute and easy read!
