The Man Who Was Thursday was an interesting read. Listening to it in audiobook format I don't think was the best choice for me, only because some things got misremembered to not remembered at all since it would act as background noise. I did love the narrator though, and think that his narration did help me to pay slightly more attention. The book itself was odd, but enjoyable. The plot twists were unexpected, and the overall end message was well done. I just think that it was slightly longer than it honestly needed to be and that on a next read I'd prefer to listen to it less as background noise or buy a physical copy.

The Darkest Minds is a book that I thoroughly enjoy on every reread. I originally watched the movie first and found the premise to be so cool that I had to read the book. I quickly got sucked into the lives of Ruby, Liam, Chubs, and Zu. Their found family dynamic is what originally sparked my love for the found family trope. Liam and Ruby's romance was also done very well, and though was quick didn't feel rushed.
The way that Clancy slowly is revealed to be the villain and that despite everything that happened they all became seperated and practically back to square one is devastating, but is essential to the story and characters.
To me everything about this book is amazing, and the only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the YA feel that it has, which is still appreciated most of the time.

out of the blue was a good book. most of the time I didn't expect what was coming. I liked the characters and their relationships with each other. one thing I didn't enjoy was how horny the characters always were and the constant mentioning of Sean's thick thighs. I enjoyed the fantasy elements and the culture in the fantasy world. It was a light read, but I'm not sure if I'd read it again.

the bone witch was a good book. the narrators went full send on their tone and the plot was good. I enjoyed the worldbuilding and the ending was good. I think because of it being an audiobook that I did zone out for some and lose bits and pieces, but I could still overall understand the plot. I will say I only felt about 5 characters to be memorable through the whole book.

Lolita was a very strange book. I knew this going into it, but I had no idea how weird it was going to be.
I didn't expect lolita to be Humberto's step-daughter. not only was she his step-daughter, but she called him dad and was self-aware that it was technically incest and wrong.
Humbert also understood that it was shameful, but somehow still went through with their relationship. While I thought the writing itself was good, I hated reading the pedophilia and the thought process of Humbert.

a study in drowning wasn't the book I'd through it was, but that doesn't mean it's a bad book. I'd be able to reread it to see if there was any foreshadowing.
I liked the plot twist of Angharad being the author of the book titled Angharad
. I liked Effy's relationship with Preston and I think the romance was well developed. although, her determination of Myriad being "her" national author did annoy me.

vicious took only 25 pages to get into and had me hooked. she non-cheonological way the story was told was much more interesting than if it had been a part one and two.
I liked the cognitive dissonance who showed and how the personalities changed once he became an EO.
His pairing with Victor and Victor being the main narrator furtheres the story. I loved the lore behind became an EO and gradually leaning about Sydney.

I may have forgotten lost of ninth house but I thoroughly enjoyed hell bent. I love Alex and Dawes. Truly their dynamic is so funny and realistic. I also loved Turner as a character and how he interacted with the plot. The mystery of getting Darlington back and the murders at the same time was done better than I had expected.
The two being connected by the twist at the end was unexpected.
I also enjoyed the academia, it and the realism of Alex being worried about missing class and her papers.

if an Egyptian cannot speak english was very odd. It seemed like a good concept, but the only reason i finished it was because I'd already told people I would. I had a hard time following the plot and the characters personalities. Somebody the actions taken were off too,
like a side character sucking his grandmother's tit far after infancy and the girl judging the American girl for doing what she wants.

the was an odd yet enjoyable book. I think audio is the best format for it, especially with the multiple cast members. I liked the multiple different storylines
and the way that they were all put into question after the corruption of the system was revealed.
I also think Nick's storyline is my favorite because his character feels so real
and he comes to terms with his sexuality and his relationship, but ends up staying due to the baby.
My least favorite character was Christopher because he was weird but I also felt he was kind of boring.
