dnfing after learning he is a serial abuser :/ i’m so sad and disappointed

very enjoyable! the perfect audiobook i love a full cast. a little cheesy but in a good way. i thought the twist at the end could have been done better. overall pretty good. 

ok this wasn’t really what i was expecting, though maybe i shouldn’t be surprised. it was written in 2015, and carrie’s with it the heavy handedness of a lot of the climate action from ten years ago. it’s extremely accusatory, lacking empathy, and black and white. i didn’t love it for similar reasons that i didn’t like the megan gail coles poems. however, some did make me go back and reread and bookmark. 

HOWEVER. there is one poem in the middle that was… transphobic? and so unnecessarily (as most transphobia is lol)? very confusing and i need to find out more about the author’s politics. 

glad i reread this! frankly devastating and timeless

this was my first neil gaiman and i had a great time reading! he is so fun and inventive. time permitting i could've read this in one or two go's. can't wait to read more. 

i was enjoying this but just kept forgetting i was reading it. will return to at a later date. 

this literally left me like :0 wow wow ok. shellshocked.

was reading this for the class i’m TAing but honestly i just did not like it and gave up on being a good TA would not recommend
