ok this wasn’t really what i was expecting, though maybe i shouldn’t be surprised. it was written in 2015, and carrie’s with it the heavy handedness of a lot of the climate action from ten years ago. it’s extremely accusatory, lacking empathy, and black and white. i didn’t love it for similar reasons that i didn’t like the megan gail coles poems. however, some did make me go back and reread and bookmark. 

HOWEVER. there is one poem in the middle that was… transphobic? and so unnecessarily (as most transphobia is lol)? very confusing and i need to find out more about the author’s politics.
