This was a totally random book chosen from a reading challenge but it ended up being exactly the kind of book I like which is fun. It's written in a different way than I'm used to, like it's describing scenes in a movie. Normally I wouldn't like that but it worked really well for this book. It takes place over a night and describes various things that happen in a neighbourhood. It's hard to go into too much details describing it, but I really liked the mood of the book.

I really enjoyed this book, an original fairytale based on Persian mythology and folklore. I love fairytales in general so it was a no brainer for me, but the characters were interesting and the directions the story took were unexpected. I just wish it had been longer as I felt that some parts felt rushed and there was definitely room for things to be flushed out a bit more.

This was a really hard book to rate because the first 40% was really hard for me, it actually put me in a reading slump and I took almost 2 weeks to finish this. I think it was partially my fault for opting not to re read the first book, but it took me a while to remember what was going on and get into the story.
But once I actually got into it I absolutely loved it. It's a really interesting and complex fairytale with the right amount of romance where it's fun but not all encompassing and I like that it focused a lot on familial love.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this book but if you haven't read for the wolf RECENTLY, read it again first.

This was SO much fun! First of all, I love the idea of a reality show where people date their exes because it sounds hilarious although the ethics are questionable but I guess that's reality tv for you.
But this is also a revenge story where the two girls this total asshole cheated on fall in love with each other instead and he gets completely humiliated. I love that and even though the concept sounds a bit cringey it works so well in this book. It's extremely witty and I was laughing the whole time I was reading (which is rare for me). Although it's technically YA the characters (well except for Jordy) and subject matter are mature enough that anyone would be able to enjoy it. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who loves lgbtq romance and reality tv. And girl power!

This was a super interesting read, and very quick. It's told in two parts. The first is written as a letter, and the second in first person from a different character. The two parts are very different but they work well together. It also has two short afterwards which are quite nice.
I thought it was really interesting to see the main plot told through one perspective and then the aftermath told from the perspective of someone who was a fairly minor character up until that point.
The prose was very poetic and the story was both thought provoking and absurd. Sad but also kind of funny.

I love retellings, and this futuristic retelling of Rapunzel was a super fun read. Despite some issues I had with it, it had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. The story was compelling and I couldn't wait to find out what happened next.
It touches quite heavily on parental abuse, but I do feel it could have gone a little deeper. The two main villains of the story, Fawn and Paul Green, both went back and forth between seeming super sinister and just misunderstood throughout the book and I'm not sure which was the truth.
I do wish there was more world building, because it's set in a futuristic society but it's hard to understand why society got to the place described in the book and I think learning more about that would've been interesting.
There are also 'random facts' throughout the book which are kind of weird because some are true facts but some are made up.

I heard this was being turned into a movie so I decided to read it. It was a really fun read and quite light while still being interesting. There are quite a few little stories and anecdotes from the past (humanities past and Mickey's past) which contribute to the world building but can get a little bit boring at times, mostly because they always pop up right when the main plot is really interesting. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the upcoming sequel.

This was a fast and compelling read, I really enjoyed it. The ebook had a number of typos
