I heard this was being turned into a movie so I decided to read it. It was a really fun read and quite light while still being interesting. There are quite a few little stories and anecdotes from the past (humanities past and Mickey's past) which contribute to the world building but can get a little bit boring at times, mostly because they always pop up right when the main plot is really interesting. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the upcoming sequel.
