(I read caraval a year or 2 back now so this was a little confusing at first ((I should have maybe done a re read)) but the story explained the past events as it went quite well so I remembered it all pretty quickly!)
GOD THAT WAS A RIDE!! SO MUCH HAPPENED IN THAT BOOK AND JUST OVER A FEW NIGHTS OMG. I had so much fun reading this honestly, it was so good and I jUST LOVE TELLA, I SAID LAST BOOK I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HER EVEN THOUGH SHE WASN’T IN IT VERY MUCH AND THEN I GOT BLESSED WITH BASICALLY A FULL BOOK!
Tella is such a good character I love her so much she’s so smart and strong and I just love her omg...Tbf there wasn’t a character I hated in this book...I loved Jacks, I loved Danté (I especially loved Dante), it was just great!
ALSO JUST THE ENDING TO THAT BOOK?? THE FINAL LIKE 3/4 CHAPTERS OH MY GOD PLS MY HEART CANT TAKE IT
5* again, I really hope I Love the final book just as much as I loved these first 2!! I’m gonna attempt to read it soon

Story was alright, like 25% of the book was basically flashbacks though and I’m getting more irked by multiple boyfriend plot lines every book. Still finishing the series though bc I own up to 8
These books really aren’t half bad, might even give this one a 3.5! The story is interesting at the minute and I’m kinda a fan, it’s pretty creative.
My only proper gripe is the repetitiveness of the writing. It’s always “_____ said” over and over! Think I’m noticing it more bc I’m borrowing the audiobooks from my library but it’s a bit annoying. Also the fact every book has to explain basic things you know if you read the other ones...other than that I’ll probably keep reading this series

Absolutely love this series!! It’s developing so well I’m so into it! I really can’t wait for book 3.
I’m honestly obsessed with this book, it was so amazing! I believe this is marketed as middle grade but it is just so well written I didn’t even really notice. It was interesting, the plot was good, and the world building was great!
Can’t wait to see what happens in the next one or where we go next.

Mixed feelings about this one. Some weird shit really, student teacher relationship, ZOEY HAVING 3 BOYFRIENDS? It was all a bit weird.
Don’t get me wrong there was some elements I did like but definitely the negatives outweighed the positives on this one...though the first half was better than the 2nd!
I’ll probably end up reading the other ones I own, just to get them off my tbr, bc it’s not a horrible series, it’s just mediocre. They’re pretty quick to read though so that’s a benefit

Been a while since I read the first book of this series but I noticed my library app had a few of the audiobooks to loan, so I decided to loan out book 2 and carry on!! I have the physical copies of most of the series from charity shop hunts so I may as well read them.
It wasn’t a bad book really, I remember moderately liking book 1 (despite the datedness of it and some weird stuff) but this was a solid read!
The story was interesting and it kept it on a nice cliffhanger, making me want to dive into book 3!
Still only a 3* though bc it wasn’t anything super special or shocking, but it was pretty fun!

I really loved this!! I don’t usually venture into ya contemporary very much let alone romance but I saw the movie a while back and just adored it so I thought I’d give it a go!!
Finally kicked myself into reading it once I realised how close movie 2 was!
I really did love this it was great, I love Lara-Jean, her struggles with romance are quite relatable and with her sisters and it was just a really fun read.
I can’t say I’m not rooting for Peter but I am...I kinda wish for that end game but I don’t think I’d be too sad if it was Josh tbh

It was good, I can’t fault the writing at all, Holly Black’s work is fantastic. Yet I didn’t really like the actual story all that much to be honest. It was an okay trilogy, some things I really liked (even loved) some things I just didn’t really care about. A lot of mid.
I still don’t like Cardan or that whole ship with Jude...I never liked him and I think that may be why I just found this book a little boring, lots of Cardan...
