4.5/5 stars. This book took me a long time to read, but it was worth it because this book is AMAZING. It took me a while to get into it but once I was in I was hooked. The writing in this book is wonderful. I loved it. <3

The whole time while reading this book, I was confused. I knew that the writing was pretty but I was kind of missing the point of the story. Well, I got the point. The point kind of flew into my face and knocked me out for a second. I really enjoyed this book. I did have a few problems with it, but the majority of them were solved by the end of the book. I enjoyed it a lot.

I really enjoyed this book A LOT. Kody Keplinger just has a way with words that no one else has. I love how she is able to put very important themes into an extremely fun story-line. This one was not any different. I wasn't sure if she could do it with a middle grade book but she did. Can't wait to read more from her. She has easily become one of my favorite authors.

3.75/5 stars. I did not want to read this book when I first got it for review. I had heard about it and I really just did not feel like reading another repeat dystopian. But honestly, this book was REALLY good and SUPER original. I enjoyed it a lot. I actually cannot wait to see what happens to these characters in the sequel(s?) to come :)

Holy goodness. Liz Fichera has done it again. I was a little apprehensive to pick up this book. (That and school work took over my life.) I loved the first book so much and I wasn't sure if this book would be able to live up to that. But oh my gosh it did! At the beginning I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book as much as I liked the first one, but I loved both so much. The last chapter had me in squeal town. Wonderful book <3 I believe this is only a two book series. I am SO sad to be saying goodbye to these characters. They have been very enjoyable.

3.5/5 stars. I love these girls. I'm glad that I read this book when I am the same age as them and in the same situation. I really enjoyed it :)

Booktube-A-Thon Book #6
I refused to read this book for almost a year. The third person present tense writing in this book really put me off. Every book, before this one, that I have read in third person present tense was not my favorite book. This one put me off especially because it was so long. My thoughts: There is no way in hell that I am going to read a book in third person present tense that is this long. Well, I ended up reading it because of the librarians at my high school. They raved about this book nonstop. I continued to refused to read this until they gave me this book as a gift for graduation. (Also, both of them told me that they wouldn't read my favorite book ever - The Host by Stephenie Meyer - until I read this book. Challenge accepted.) So reluctantly, I picked up this book. Well…I’m glad that I read this book because it was great. It was whimsical. It was mysterious. It was unlike anything that I have ever read. Really great book.

I thought this book was going to be all about sex and nothing else. But, to my surprise, this book actually had a plot. If all new adult books are like this, I will be reading a lot more of them. This was great! :)

Full Review from my blog Owl Eyes Reviews :
This was the book that I was most anticipating this year. It’s quite interesting that this is probably going to be my last book of the year. I was really nervous to pick this up though because the reviews were not what I was expecting. It’s not what the reviews weren’t positive, it’s just that everyone seemed to be disappointed. I was scared that I was going to be disappointed as well. And I never - NEVER - want to be disappointed with Stephanie Perkins because…Stephanie Perkins. Well, thank the book gods because I wasn’t disappointed in this book at all. But, it was different. This book wasn’t perfect but I was able to look past imperfections and see the book for it’s beauty.
I played a weird game of tug of war trying to decide if I liked the romance in this book. One of the reasons I love the way Stephanie Perkins writes romance is because she lets it develop. She lets it boil on the stove like a kettle right up to the point where it’s about the whistle. This book, however, was different. The romance in this book moved REALLY quickly. I did not like how quickly it moved. I barely know the characters, I was not really ready to follow a romance. Even though the speed of the romance had me annoyed, I couldn’t help but fall into the pool of cute because …Stephanie Perkins. Gah. It was pretty bad. I squealed quite a few times. It wasn’t what I loved from the other two books but, you know… Stephanie Perkins.
Let’s talk about the characters in this book! We should start with Isla because …this book is kind of about her, yeah? Isla was a really interesting character. Most of the book, I really like her. But for some of the book, Isla was interesting. By reading the back of the book, we all know that Isla has a big crush on Josh. At times, in my opinion, her crush was a little bit obsessive. There were some things that she did that I’m pretty sure everyone does but others were…interesting XD But like I said, most of the time I enjoyed her a lot.
Josh was an interesting character as well. Because the romance moved along so quickly, I felt like we didn’t really know him until the middle of the book. That kind of bothered me because I really hate it when a love interest is kind of just..there. Also, at points, I thought Josh could be kind of possessive of Isla. It would come out of no where at odd points and it kind of just bothered me. Overall though, I liked Josh. He wasn’t perfect, but I liked him. In my opinion, though, he doesn’t compare to the other two boys.
One aspect of the book that I was not expecting was Isla’s relationship with her friend Kurt. I really loved their relationship. I feel like recently, books have been missing the mark with friendships for me. This one did not let me down.
There is a scene is this book where everyone - people from past books - make an appearance. I’m not going to give anything away but THIS SCENE. I fell onto the floor and rolled around my floor while squealing for about five minutes. STEPHANIE FREAKING PERKINS.
The end of this book was the problem many other people have with this book, but, I was satisfied. This book wasn’t exactly like the other two, but I enjoyed it as an overall. Stephanie Perkins is still wonderful <3
