Cute slice of life graphic novel about a couple and their everyday life. I loved the scene where Blackbird bought a birthday cake even though it wasn't her birthday because she wanted the cake. So relatable! 

This is a new favorite. I adored the Monk and Robot series by Becky Chambers. This gave me all the "thinking about the world" warm and fuzzies along with one of the best found families in space since Firefly.

I just want Dr. Chef to make me a tea in the fishbowl while we talk about life. 

I first read book 1 of this series last year for Polarthon. I found the book to be just okay. I reread book 1 and continued the series as part of my attempt to read all of my special edition books. While I still thing the story was mostly okay, I think the pay off for the romance was pretty well done and worth the read. I did appreciate the. folktale type story telling. I will probably read more from this author in the future.
