This book is adorable. This book tells the story of dwarf pony Pumpkin, Pumpkin’s mom Thea and animal rescuers Ashley and Deacon.
I really like how this book tells the story of rehabing a pony through different perspectives including the animals. I think for young people it might become hard to imagine what life is like for animals. This way of writing really shows different perspectives in an attainable way for young readers. I also really appreciated the amount of facts and information provided in this book.
I look forward to adding this to my library to share with students.

I really enjoyed reading this title. I thought the information was very well researched and presented in a very inviting way.

I finished up my ARC of This Wandering Heart by @janinerosche this afternoon. And I adored this book so much I jumped on Goodreads to look for more and there are more books coming.

Wow. So I just read this whole thing in one day. I'm not usually a scifi reader, but this was something else entirely.
First the structure and formatting of the story was amazing. I look forward to going back and listening to this story on audio book because I've heard that is very well done. However, I wanted the experience of diving into these different forms and communication methods.
Second, I adored Kady. I think she was such a strong, beautiful character. I love how she is a girl who uses computer coding to save the day. I love that SHE is the one who comes through and saves the world instead of her male military member counterpart.
And ugh there was that part where I wanted to throw the book against a wall because someone died and I could not deal.
I will be getting the next two books in this series ASAP.

Grump is a creative retelling of Snow White. In this story we follow Grump who is one of the 7 dwarves. We follow him from birth up through how he meets the Evil Queen and Snow White.
Overall I thought this was a pretty creative take on a classic story. I like how we follow a minor character in the story. I like how we get to see different aspects of his life. I did enjoy reading this story. However I felt like the story moved pretty slow. I almost wanted more action or something. I will definitely check out the other books in this series.
