As someone who doesn't read a lot of poetry I found this book to be easily understood and accessible.
As a female who teaches the words in this book really resonated with me because I think there are so many great, empowering one liners in this that I want to shout and share with all the girls I can.
I tabbed and highlighted so many things in this book. I look forward to rereading it over and over again.

This was not my favorite Manga I have ever read. I definitely liked the art style and that was about it. The parts that I thought were supposed to be humorous fell short. I feel like nothing really happened in the book. They spent the entire time raising an army, but never really got to any sort of fight. Overall this was just disappointing. I thought the story had a lot of potential, but it definitely did not reach that potential.
This was an interesting read. I am in no way a Poetry master. In fact Poetry is a pretty new genre for me in the "outside of school" life. I didn't hate this collection of poetry. There were a few poems in here that I actually really liked and tabbed for further reading. But mostly I felt like this poetry was nothing special for me. I feel like I won't necessarily read any more of r.h. Sin's Poetry, but I didn't hate the collection and I can see why some people may really enjoy this book.
I'm giving this poetry collection a generous 4 star rating. At this point I've read four poetry collections for enjoyment purposes. So this rating may change in the future, however for where I am at currently with my poetry reading I really enjoyed this collection. I thought the theme of having Neon in your body instead of the generic light that most people talk about was very clever.
I also really loved the writing prompts at the end of the book. I think that by having this interactive component I really felt more connected to the material because I could find and craft my own love for the language and terms the author used.
Overall a very good collection of poetry. I look forward to picking this up again in the future.

So I just finished this book. I got it in my May Book of the Month box. I went into this story expecting an awesome, fluffy, fun romance novel about a bad ass female protagonist. While I absolutely got these things I also got this really cool book that's about a female who works in a super cool tech job.
I loved the relationship between Samiah and Daniel. I loved the internal dialog of both Samiah and Daniel respectively. I just really enjoyed reading this book and now when I came to the Goodreads page I see that it says The Boyfriends Project #1...so I am already so excited for a possible sequel.
