I really enjoyed this cute little graphic novel. I love the pinky hues the artist uses throughout the book. Sam Davies has a very cute, inviting style about her writing.

I also really like the characters. Although I didn’t get much of Nan and Clarion I did immediately feel intrigued and connected to them and I look forward to hopefully reading more about their adventures in magical veterinarian life.

Bella’s Fall coat is an adorable story about a little girl and her favorite coat that her grandmother made for her. Through the seasons Bella grows out of her coat, however she doesn’t want to stop wearing it because it is her favorite piece of clothing.

This story is very simple, but very cute. I like the repetition of action words in this story it makes for a really beautiful read aloud. The illustrations perfectly capture fall living.

This book just makes me want to add glitter to everything in my life.

Oh Em Gee. This book is so good. I love that, yes it is a unicorn book, but this book also encourages acceptance and kindness in the story. So I can recommend something that is pretty and glittery to my students, while at the same time recommending something with substance!
