This was my August Book of the Month club selection and it did not disappoint. The storyline was full of unpredictable secrets and mysteries. This was the 50th book of my goal to read 50 books in 2016. A great way to cap off my year of books. #August2016BookOfTheMonthClub

I recently subscribed to the Book of the Month and this was my first book. I don't think I ever would have selected this book on my own and it was a fantastic read! #June2016BookOfTheMonthClub

Every man is certainly, a menace. #November2016BookOfTheMonthClub

I picked up this book at the annual ALA Conference this summer. I wanted to meet Laurie Halsey Anderson and she was giving away copies of this book. This is a YA book with universal themes. Reading this fictional account of an individual living with PTSD caused me to actually consider the ramifications of war and the impacts on the soldiers and their families for years and years after returning. This was an exceptional read and I'm glad to be able to add it to my evolving list of must reads for my students.
