4.5 stars to Volume 4 (got a little weird with random artwork and story being a little all over the place in this one)! I will be writing a comprehensive review of the entire series to be posted with Vol. 6.

5 stars! Full review to come

I have loved getting to know the Fab Five in a deeper way ever since I started watching their most recent show... and getting to learn more about Tan is no different! I really enjoyed getting to know about Tan's personal and professional struggles (and how he overcame them), his life with his husband, how he came to be part of the Queer Eye reboot, etc. Watching his parts of the show are some of my favorite parts because he just seems so stylish, graceful, and poised. Tan's book made made laugh, smile, and think about matters that I either had never thought of before or topics that I needed to focus on more. I think this book is for anyone and everyone, regardless of the fact if you are a Fab Five/Queer Eye fan or not. 4 stars!

4 stars! Review to come

Morgan K. Tanner's collection is full of loss, suffering, angst, loneliness, and despair. Our mind can be our biggest tormentor. We can be our own worst enemy. These stories all have their own little twist that will leave your jaw on the floor. From urban legends to the grisly macabre to stalkers and zombies, Tanner crafts some great stories and there is definitely a little something for everyone in this collection. Tanner writes with such imagery that it's nearly impossible to not see all the events unfolding in your mind as the terror rages on.

4.5 stars! Highly recommended and can't wait to see what he does next!

3 stars here! I really enjoyed this story - full review to come!

Another great and unique story! Check this one out free on the author's website.

Grady Hendrix does it once again, folks! We've definitely got some Steel Magnolias meets Dracula in this 90s throwback to simpler times when a vampire could fly under the radar in the suburbs. Patricia is our protagonist and she is a married mother of two and trying to manage her family responsibilities with her book club while also suspecting that their newbie stranger in town, James Harries, is a vampire. Weird things start happening and children are going missing or ending up mysteriously dead and Patricia has to balance her sanity and morals to figure out what is afoot.

Hendrix creates an amazing group of women in this book club and equally but opposite group of villains/a-hole characters as well. You will find yourself cheering for Patricia from your cozy reading spot and wanting nothing but the worst for anyone who is trying to slow her down or stop her.

And I also love how the sections of the book are titles of famous books (true crime, horror, etc) that the club happens to be reading while ALSO totally relating to the plot at the time in those pages. GENIUS!

This is a solid and easy 5 star read... and it is probably going to land in my top 5 reads of 2020. Being able to make that claim while it is only March is bold, but it is absolutely believable. Thanks to Quirk Books and the author for allowing the Night Worms to partner in this book party! You all NEED this book!

I absolutely love this story. I flew threw it in two sittings and that was only because I was in the middle of travelling and had to stop, otherwise I may have read it all at once. The first thing that drew me in was the format of the story. We get to see this story through past journal entries, TMZ articles, interviews, etc. The way we go from format to format is just one more factor that makes this book so addictive and readable. I will definitely be reading more from this author and I highly recommend this to any thriller fan! 5 stars!!

So good! 5 stars - full review to come!
