Enjoyable and I was very surprised to find out that I still remember quite a few details from the first book, despite it being more than 3 years since I read it!
The one thing they really bothered me was the writing style and the plot devices used, for example we needed Jude to face the threat of the undersea alone and we were told that the council never believed her in a paragraph, even Jude herself exclaimed that she's alone facing this threat. A lot of things didn't feel organic and that kinda hindered my enjoyment of the book a bit.

I mean...where do I even start? It was easy to read but that doesn't mean it was well written or the plot twist was substantial or that any of it made sense
I felt seen, it touched my heart in so many different ways and it even made me cry while sitting in a pub having a coffee (second book that has ever managed to make me cry).
Incredibly thought provoking, brilliantly plotted, loved every minute and annotating it was one of the best decisions ever.
Last but not least, may we all find a Wolf Queen at least once in our lives.

My favourite was the last story, really heartwarming and sad.
Overall though, I just couldn't finish this book in a timely manner, it took me months and it's so so short. I think it's a clear case of "it's not you, it's me".

Lived up to the hype and I loved every page. It felt deeply personal and unhinged and fun and eerie and isn't that a true representation of a person's feelings? We all contain multitudes and this book did a beautiful job in expressing just that, that we may see just a woman, but inside, there's a whole world waiting to be explored. Even if it is nasty and depraved and ultimately, sad.
Funny, provoking and so so sad at the same time. What started as a ridiculous tale about a mum slowly turning into a dog, ended up being almost horrifying when discussing what a woman must give up when becoming a mother as opposed to what a man must give up when becoming a father.
Loved it and I would wholeheartedly recommend it. The only downside is that I found I wasn't as immersed in it and had to take breaks from reading, hence why only 4/5 stars.

This book was the conversation I didn't know I needed about death. I loved every word of it and it really made me contemplate A LOT. A book that I'm not sure who can I recommend it too, but one that I want everyone to read.
