Enjoyable and I was very surprised to find out that I still remember quite a few details from the first book, despite it being more than 3 years since I read it!

The one thing they really bothered me was the writing style and the plot devices used, for example we needed Jude to face the threat of the undersea alone and we were told that the council never believed her in a paragraph, even Jude herself exclaimed that she's alone facing this threat. A lot of things didn't feel organic and that kinda hindered my enjoyment of the book a bit.
