A wonderful and terribly realist story of a women with Alzheimer. We follow her from the first sign to the end were she no longer know who she is. It's well done, great and true characters, there are a lot of emotion involve and we just keep thinking about it after it's finish. A awesome story, but more important, a story that make people think and talk about a disease that is to often put aside and ignore. A must read!

The audiobook narrated by the author is also awesome!

A good anthology of some of Lovecraft work adapted into a comic book. I’m a huge fan of Lovecraft and I enjoy revisiting some of his work through a new format. I think that the adaptation respect the original form and that the artworks also give it justice. My only complaint would be that Lovecraft writing is kind of slow, and those short stories/comics n that books are really short so sometimes it felt a bit press or rush to fit in a shorter format. But I still like it and would recommend for the Lovecraft fan and maybe for some new comers who feel intimidated by his work and want to hope in, in an easier way!

Perfect book to discover optical illusion but also understand how they work and why those have strange effects on your brain. It also have so building experiment to do, but having the e-book version I can’t comment on the quality of the material that the book provide. I always like optical illusion has a kid and I can see why and who might like this book. Well done!

An A-B-C book with motivation and hopeful words. Cute for the meaning and the message in it, but at the same time not so sure the A-B-C book format and the message in it goes that well together to fit the same reader age...

A very unique kind of book/art. One page painting, all title, «Things that are...» and then a lot of little sketchy illustrations of stuff that are or aren’t. Original and kind of unique, but was is god or interesting in an artistic way... not in my opinion!

3,5/5. Between YA and adult fantasy, a bit closer to YA I guess but definitely better than most book from this genre. I like the Asian mythology and fantasy, sometimes we see more and more in recent months/years but that was kind of new and non-existing quite recently. The story is good, a bit simple in its overall plot, but entertaining and well done. I have to admit all those Asians name gave me a hard time to remember and associate them with what they are. The fantasy aspects and the magic were good enough for me to catch my attention; I will look into the next one, see how it will evolve. Maybe not a must read, but a good enough book that I enjoy!

Another of those books where the illustrations and the text (quantity and level of information) don’t match each other. The illustrations are very childish but the info and the amount of text is certainly some years older than that. I would have put less text and more concise info or keep the information as they are but add real good quality picture and not just illustration... Anyway maybe this is just me, my preference and all, but this book didn’t please me!

Good book, well written with an alright «plot», but I just find it too girly for my personal preference. It’s a fun summer read for teenage girls. Personal appreciation 2/5, potential 3,5/5 or even 4/5. So I will go with a fair 3/5 official rating.

This is an insult to magic, magic books and magic fans. Cheap trick and cheap presentation. Even the advice on «stage performance» are not really worth it. Just don’t!

3,5/5. I never read the original Sandman series so I can’t really compare them. But this one, in itself, was good. Dark universe, dark humor has well and an interesting but a bit confusing plot. Not sure I will continue exploring this universe but I’m glad I read this one!
