Not really what I was looking for. if you're looking for a book about architecture, home made building and lot of description about the process, from choosing the right place and why based on what and quoting some people here and there, a lot of Thoreau quotes, well you might like it, it isn't a bad book. But for me the long description of analysis and factual process was way too long and boring for me. I was hoping for me thoughts about why he do it, the thinking behind that but on a psychological or philosophical perspective, not just factual and architectural aspects. It depends on what you're looking for!

2,5/5. Little biography for children. I respect the person it presents but the book with its pace, its illustrations and the story, fine but nothing extraordinary in the life of this women, made this book loose some points. It wasn't bad, wasn't really good either!

Good book, well illustrated, about various animals and where they lived. It two kinds of texts fro every animal. First a big and easy to read one, more readable for children, and a smaller one, informative, with «deeper» informations. So it can really be read in duo children/parent and have a nice reading time while learning somethings too. Very well done!

Je n'ai pas particulièrement aimé ce livre d'un auteur que j'apprécie pourtant. on tombe dans l'allégorie facile, la philosophie à la limite de la psycho-pop, les fondements sont bons et valables, mais la façons de les présenter, trop simplement, rend le tout un peu simplet... Je suis déçu et je suis resté sur mon appétit!

Un autre roman de Robin Hobb que je termine entièrement satisfait de ma lecture. Normalement à ce stade, c’est tout de même le douzième de la série vous savez à quoi vous attendre. Le rythme demeure assez lent, essentiellement centré sur le développement des personnages et l’intrigue générale de la série, avec une petite intrigue à l’interne du livre pour donner un certain rythme et le sentiment qu’il se passe bel et bien quelque chose et une fin rapide, mouvementé qui donne envie de continuer. C’est un univers que j’adore, des personnages auxquels je suis profondément attachés et que je retrouve avec plaisir à chaque fois. Pas la série que je lis de façon intensive, mais quelques tomes par année, j’ai commencé la série en juillet 2016, mais vraiment une excellente série, bien écrite, bien mené, des intrigues politiques, des scènes de batailles assez rares, mais qui justement les rendent plus puissantes lorsqu’elles surviennent. Une série à découvrir si ce n’est pas déjà fait!!

Weird, complex, very good! Only two issues left and so far I like it but it isn't as epic as I was hoping for, my expectations were probably way too high! I like all the time line messing up in Jon head, it was really well done so you can understand how he perceive time but it isn't too confusing to read! Well done! Probably one of the best issues this series has provides in a while!

Good adaptation of Lovecraft work into a comic book. The illustrations look a bit childish for my personal taste, yes it can be a good way to get children (around 10 years old maybe) to discover Lovecraft, but I would have like a darker style for the arts. If not that aspect, it was fun to read and well adapted. Enjoyable!

I really like this book, surprisingly. Surprisingly because this isn't the kind of comic I would normally enjoy. The story is slow, but I found myself really attach to Lya and I want to know what did that to her. The intrigue is simple but really well executed and I need to know, I will have to look out for the next one to know the truth!

I don’t have read the Magicians trilogy yet, but I’ve seen the TV shows and I like it a lot. This graphic novel takes back the story from the start but clearly focusing on Alice point of view. It sure has a lot of difference from the TV shows, not in term of major events, but more in the characters (they are so different physically (Penny!?!) maybe they are describe like that in the book, I don’t know), but nothing that really matters in the end. I like the art, like the story, really fast pace, they don’t lose time at all, and it was good to get into this world again and it just push me harder to read those books soon (I already have them all so...). I wouldn’t necessarily recommend beginning in this world with that book, start with the trilogy or the shows, but definitely a must read for the fans!

J'aime bien. Divertissant, la tournure est intéressante, un peu prévisible, mais j'ai hâte de voir jusqu'où çela va aller.
