Badly done. The information seems okay from what I know, but the execution of the book itself is horrible. The balance between text and illustrations, the quality of the illustrations that look like cheapo retro pop art (I know this is probably an artistic choice, but for that kind of book real picture would have been better), the quantity of those illustrations are also way too low and it just appear to me that it’s another case of bad mixed between the book edition/organization and the targeted audience!

Another «version» of way to tell the story of Deepwater Horizon. A true tragedy can’t say anything against that. Also working on those drilling platform is just a high risky job that we should have a long discussion to determine if this is really necessary in our modern world... Anyway, for the book, it was good, we feel the tragedy, the life impacted by it, and the form that goes from various «interview» and discussion and memory, all is well done. I listen to it on audiobook and the «acting» the voice part of it really raise the bar because it allows me to feel emotion that I’m not sure I would have feel just reading it. Good book and wonderful audio part!

4,5/5. Really good. Always fun, entertaining, characters that we just want to hang out with and that have good development! I like it!

I’m always careful but open mind with those kinds of books or healing method. The balance between science, belief and esoteric is crucial and too often it’s where it failed. But not this one. I like the idea and the philosophy behind it. It makes sense to me and I have try some technique and will continue to do so for some weeks. So far, can’t say it change my life, but I have to admit it has some effect, and honestly this can do no harm so... why not try it if you need improvement. Is it placebo effect? Maybe! But if you feel better after it, again why not? There is no intake of anything, just mostly posture, massage/hold and breathing so the risk is very limited. Better than expected and a very interesting method/technique/belief!

I got it as an ARC and just want to say that at page 199, the art is missing, or not add yet, but the author or publisher might want to look at it before the official publishing!

Le premier tome m’avait laissé sur mon appétit, le côté thriller étrange ayant laissé place à une romance douteuse en cours de lecture, j’avais été assez déçu. J’ai tout de même reçu le deuxième un peu avant sa sortie en français, il sort au mois de juin je crois et j’ai donc décidé de lui donner une autre chance. Je n’aurais probablement pas dû. La romance est encore plus présente, le rythme est très lent, trop de dialogues vides qui ne servent pas à grand-chose et au final une histoire/intrigue inintéressante! Un livre très commerciale, dont je peux comprendre l’intérêt de certains, mais qui n’est clairement pas mon genre. C’est la fin pour moi et cette auteure!

Great anthology that presents the 100 greatest moments from the villain of the DC universe. I enjoy this book a lot for many reasons. First it allows me to discover new villains that I didn’t know about and that, now, want to go out there and find comic with them to read more about them. Second, good old memories!! And third, well done, well organize, good pictures quality, good variety of villains as wells for the well know classic, to more obscure ones! Really good!

Interesting children book that has a god story, some information about London and even some games/activities to do with your kid. I also like the idea of putting the dialogue in color, the text color matching the characters color who talks, it make it easy to understand and follows for younger readers. Interesting book, from what might be a possible interesting collection, because I think there is more city visited by this cat, or they will be soon... Good one!

Comme toujours avec Fitzek, j'ai bien aimé ce thriller. j'ai apprécié le rythme, le style, les personnages (un peu clichés mais ça passe) et surtout l'emplacement, le bateau de croisière était franchement une bonne idée. Les faits techniques et statistiques énoncé sur le sujet des bateaux de croisières étaient également instructifs et très intéressants. J'y vais cependant pour un quatre étoiles, et non cinq, car la fin m'a un peu déçu. les trop nombreux rebondissements et revirements (qui fonctionnent bien soit dit en passant) font tout de même perdre de la crédibilité et on se retrouve à se dire que c'est une bonne idée, mais qu'on pousse quand même beaucoup pour que tout s'emboîte et nous surprenne, encore, et encore, et encore...

We don’t learn about the Gaelic culture or anything here, just a bunch of words, and very fews, to kids to learn with the help of the phonetical alphabet. Big fail!
