This new comic/series start intriguing in the first few pages, but I felt down really soon. Another generic hero, blank with nothing original, same thing for the story/plot and the illustration are colorful but lack some personality as well. Not bad... just not really worth the money or the time!

2,5/5. With poetry it is mostly it or miss. It reach you, speak to your soul, or you just feel nothing... it was the second for me with this book. The poetry seems a bit «young» lack the depth or the maturity to really speak to me. The writing in itself isn’t bad at all, simple for sure, with simple rhythmic prose, but readable. Wasn’t for me, but i think that some reader might like it and that it has its place and public!

Good little documentary on dinosaurs for children. It talks about the period of time, the dinosaurs that lived in those ages; it also contains some info about archeology and more! Well done, easy to understand, good quality and attractive illustrations for children, good information and stats! Good first book on the subject for young reader interested in dinosaurs!

Sinister is always cool to have around! I already miss Wolverine, lets hope he won't be off too long! A good one!

I never read the original series, so maybe I would have a different opinion if I had. Anyway, this was below my expectations. I really like the art and the originality of the world. My problem was with the storyline, that try to be epic, but was a bit confuse in my opinion, and with a touch of humor that didn't please me! Not totally bad, but not as good as I thought this would be!

The Chinese mythology was interesting but that's about it for this book. Clearly a YA novel with all the clichés that come with, it too many for me. The «I hate him but feel so attract by you» stuff is always a turn off for me and I might be too old for enjoying the main characters personality and naivety.The humor was also a bit weird, not sure if it was suppose to be funny, sometimes it just felt like those b movie that are so ridiculous that they became comical. In the end a typical YA, if you like the genre you should have a look, if you don't, better stay away!

Mon premier Guillaume Musso. je voulais lire cet auteur depuis longtemps et en même temps, j'étais très hésitant à le faire. Mon verdict: c'est exactement ce à quoi je m'attendais, un Marc Lévy 2.0. Bien écrit, une écriture simple et accessible, mais une intrigue trop facile, du déjà-vu, des grosses ficelles qui tiennent le tout et une lecture qui passe et dont on ne retire à peu près rien. La recette est efficace et elle fonctionne, le livre se tien, mais comme toute recette, on y a déjà goûté et on reste dans les sentiers bien balisés et sécuritaires.Un livre populaire dans le sens le plus pur du terme, je dit cela sans arrogance cette littérature à tout à fait le droit d'exister et clairement, le palmarès des ventes de Musso le prouve, cela plaît à un très grand nombre, mais ce n,est pas le genre de livre qu moi, personnellement, j'apprécie. J'ai aimé le regard critique et de l'intérieur sur le monde du livre et de l'édition, encore là rien de bien nouveau, mais c'était bien fait et pour moi ce fut le plus intéressant du livre.

2,5/5. A survival story in a post-apocalyptic world. At least no zombie so that's «original». It is well written enough, nothing extraordinary in term of style, very practical and a bit dry, but for this kind of story is achieve its purpose. My problem was that the character were just blank. I felt nothing for them and really couldn't care less what happen to them. I also have some concern about how the story/plot evolve. The beginning talk about the truck and how they need to free it from the snow, then repair, they even talk about how they are 500 km late on there oil change, seriously, who cares!! The book often focus on element like that, that was just an example, that are not that important in a post-apocalyptic world. I get the importance of keeping your car in good shape, but focusing on that that much... There is also some nonsense. We mentioned that half the world is mostly frozen, even the ocean frost thick, but at the same time the temperature doesn't seem that cold from what the characters do... Anyway, I don,t want to get all the bad stuff out, the book isn't completely failed, it is a slightly low average surviving story, but the hardcore fan of the genre might enjoy it. I just think that it has a lot of them out there, and that this one just didn't bring something new to the table!

Fun story about music and how it can help bring people together, forget about difference and just enjoy the music and life itself. A simple, but really positive message that pleased me!
