The Chinese mythology was interesting but that's about it for this book. Clearly a YA novel with all the clichés that come with, it too many for me. The «I hate him but feel so attract by you» stuff is always a turn off for me and I might be too old for enjoying the main characters personality and naivety.The humor was also a bit weird, not sure if it was suppose to be funny, sometimes it just felt like those b movie that are so ridiculous that they became comical. In the end a typical YA, if you like the genre you should have a look, if you don't, better stay away!
