Fragments poétiques d'une grande sensibilités. Ce livre est touchant et décrit une réalité crue et brutale. J'aurais aimé une trame narrative plus claire, j'ai une relation amour-haine avec les récits fragmentés, mais je dois reconnaître qu'ici l'écriture et le sujet ont gagnée mon appréciation! Belle découverte!

3,5/5. A very simple and light story for young children. The story in itself is okay without being very original or entertaining. What I like about it was the information and the realistic aspect of being a foster home for pets. It’s well presented, explained and can also makes kids think about all the positive and negative things that an animal can bring into a home/family.

No bad... short cartoons about summer. Not much to say about this one. The humor was alright, light, but alright, but... There is a big but about this book... Nothing wrong with it but just too casual to make it noticeable!

I love this book that present important person with short story/biography and I had huge respect for Stephen Hawking and what he achieves has a person and as a scientist. In our modern world there is a big need to show kids great person that achieve things and were not just popular or known because they post picture on Instagram and this book des that very well. Great job!!

The Mars Room is another of those prison/jail story. What make is good and different is the fact that it follows woman in, of course, a woman facility and the realism of the story (I’m no woman and I never been in prison, but as far as I know and from what I read, this seem realistic enough). It done without pretention in a simple way to describe a hard and sad part of our society, not just the prison part, but all that surround those person who end up there, their life choice, difficulties they endure and all that. I like it more then I was expecting and that’s always a good thing!!

This book is amazing! First it have a very important subject that need to be talk about and explain to kids, and that’s how our mind/thinking work and what we can do about it. Second, it’s one of those rare books where the illustrations bring another dimension to the book. Sometimes, too often, the illustrations are there to show characters or just be pretty and attractive for kids, but in this one they bring something more and allow us to go deeper in the comprehension of what the author is trying to explain, and they also have an original style. Really well done!!

The title says it all really. A very complete guide on the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife (a brief history on it and it presents a good variety of models) and there is also a bunch of survival tips. Well done and perfect for what it try to accomplish!

Didn't really like this one. I look a bit cheap with the generic illustrations on one side and a text page on the other. The story in itself was not entirely bad but still a bit below average. Not really worth it! Sorry...

This book is good, but trying to touch so many subjects it became a bit over pack with content. It goes into astronomy, Islamic/Arabic culture (not so sure how to call it... I hope I don’t offend anyone), relation between father and son, and more. It still easy to read, kind of surprisingly for a book that have some much stuff in it. I like it and would recommend it. Writing skill well done here!

I’m not a Nancy Drew fan. I never read one of those classic books and maybe someone who knows the characters would have a better opinion of it all. But for me, this wasn’t really good. The story isn’t so bad but the characters really get on my nerves. I never was able to like any of them, don’t really know why, but this was very irritating while reading. Maybe it’s my fault...
