The Mars Room is another of those prison/jail story. What make is good and different is the fact that it follows woman in, of course, a woman facility and the realism of the story (I’m no woman and I never been in prison, but as far as I know and from what I read, this seem realistic enough). It done without pretention in a simple way to describe a hard and sad part of our society, not just the prison part, but all that surround those person who end up there, their life choice, difficulties they endure and all that. I like it more then I was expecting and that’s always a good thing!!
