Another of those books about a great person who achieved something great in his field of activity. No so sure about the illustration style of this one but definitely a good way for young readers to learn about Ali!

Not perfect but a solid first book by the author. The first half is just perfect, nothing to say about it, cool ambiance and great characters, not the most original one, but likeable and well develop. Unfortunately with the second half come a bunch, I mean a ton, of clichés from the post-apocalyptic genre and also a bunch of YA style romance that didn't please me at all. Then the ending, as cheesy as it can be... I do respect the message at the end, no spoiler, but the message about how few things we need to enjoy and appreciate life, the essential stuff, that was great! So definitely some flaws but I enjoy and I think will remember it quite some times and that's good, but for me, this book was about the ambiance and characters, I would have prefer to let all the clichés and the action down and just enjoy the ride, living that isolated life with the characters, even if nothing had happen it would have been fine by me. The action/plot just seem a bit forced and was really not original at all. Anyway, I still like it, good first book, a book I enjoy and an author I will keep my eyes on and will read in the future!
3,5/5. Good and always fun to get back into the Themis Files with new material. A very short read and nice add on that the fan will enjoy but it doesn't the story at another level or anything. Fun but non essential!
Like it, again fun without being essential to read, but I think I enjoy it more than File 002, the tons of the interrogator is just so right, not arrogant, but definitely patronizing at a high level, very funny!
3,5/5. The genetic test criticism in this one is just awesome! I sure feel the same about those test, trying to look fun and easy to do, when in my paranoid mind sure sound like they trying to get bank of info on their population for what reason...? Anyway I like that part. The rest may not be the most entertaining of those lost files, but still a good read for the fans and maybe even most, the Canadian fans!
I don't know what to say about this one. It was good, really good! But at the same time it just shows a very dark and bad aspect of our modern world, and the ending... wow! A dystopia, but kind of close to us. Don't want to say to much b risking to spoil stuff. There is so much stuff in it for a short book, you have psychology, human study, politic, etc. and it a short story that will make you think about many things. This is probably my less clear review of all time and I apologize. But if you like a good story, are not afraid of being shock and like to think about where our society is going, I would definitely recommend this book!
I'm the only one who us that crazy about this series!?! Probably not... One thing is sure, I'll cry like a baby when this will be over. What a ride! Loving every word and illustration of it! Amazing work!
