3,5/5. A bit different from the others Steam stories I have read so far. This one is more focus on the story and the «active» part of it is more artistic (the others were more on building/making things) and on how to decorate stuff, a cookie stall more specifically. Nothing extraordinary but a more then decent book like this collection has me used to!

I had a strong and very good memory of this book for reading it has a kid (in French). So I search for it for a while and didn't find it in French but I found this good edition in English. It wasn't as great as I remember but still a very good children book. Lot of action, well written and powerful creature fighting. I think this is a good example of a book that can bring kids, especially young boy, to reading and enjoying it. We need more book like this! So even if this wasn't exactly as I remember, this was a very good reading time with old childhood souvenir!

The story evolve a bit more in this one and that's a good thing. Nothing great but good enough to keep me on for a while! We'll see how it goes!

Good action, great characters (some that I didn't know about, so it's cool to find out new one), and a very good universe/ambiance. There is kind of a sexy vibe to it, with the place and all those strong female characters in it. Very original and entertaining!!

Lot of action in this one. Good storyline as well. The ending promise a next one very interesting. This one was very DC centered and not much of Watchmen universe but still a good one. The end is near (or night ;)) and I have high hope for it!

3,5/5. I think I prefer The Couple Next Door (previous book by this author) but this one still does the work. A thriller in a remote location, surround by snow, ice and wind, perfect for a winter read. It has some liking with Then there were none by Agatha Christie but just a bit. I like the atmosphere, the characters were well put into place, there a bunch of clichés but it's alright, and I enjoy, I always do, the «everyone has a secret or dark past» vibe in it. That being said the ending let me down a little. Not really predictable, but with that kind of writing/mystery it could have been anybody, so it wasn't the surprise of the lack of surprise that was the problem but the «boffff» feeling we get. There is no wow effect or big surprise and the ending kind of end flat there. Not a bad ending, an average one honestly, but I was expecting, maybe more hoping, for something more original or more spectacular. Fast pace, quick read, worth the time but not a must read!

One of the good volume of this Before Watchmen series. I really enjoy the Nite Owl, mostly because Rorschach was very present and the Dr. Manhattan was great because... you know... Dr. Manhattan, and also because of the multi verse theory and thinking in it! Cool one!

3,5/5. I don't read much of what for me is YA contemporary, but I got to say that this one wasn't bad at all. Considering the fact that the author, from her picture on the book, look on her's early twenties she got talent, she knows how to write. The story is nonetheless a bit light but touch the difficult subject of grief in an interesting way, a teenage way, that I think can help some kids to talk about that or make their mind on it. There's love, but not cheap cheesy triangle love, just cute teenage love and even if the main characters is a bit obsess with her skin and about herself (she is a teenagers girls after all...) I liked her. A more then decent first book by a young writer. A surprisingly and honestly good read!

Good quality pictures and interesting historical architectural information. This books is focus on the building itself, not the religion or cult. It present monasteries/church from various religion, mostly Christianity from Europe, but we go a bit in Asia and Arabic world. Specific subject, but I always, and even more recently, have kind of a fascination for those places and this recluse way of life. I would be really curious to try living it, for a couple of months or even a year...

3,5/5. Story about being different and even if a bit «lost» or inattentive you still deserve love and respect. Ode to the difference. Nothing extraordinary here but an interesting book worth reading!
