Very good kids books with good illustrations (even if some didn't appears on my kindle...) and very funny characters. I love the tricky part of it the bad attitude of them that was good and funny but they also bring a moral aspect to it by the end, so it don't end with a bad message. Well done and entertaining! Love it!
So much non sense and unentertaining story. The absurdity of it can be a bit funny, but that's is far away from being enough to justify buying this book! No!
Good books that present and explain the importance of waters on our planets and also presents the oceans, biggest/most important seas and rivers. All well visually present with beautiful pictures. Nothing really new or original because there are tons of books on that subject, but it does it as well as most of them so a good pick as well as another.
Can't really say bad stuff about this book. A book that try to explain and present the reality of a autism kid. Great value, great message, but....ahhh I hate myself for it but not a terrible book. Good, average, but nothing more. I still appreciate the message, the work and put emphasis of the importance of it all! But literally speaking... just average!
Firs this is not an interesting book. A story about a boy who just bounce on a trampoline and at the end a girl ask him to bounce with him...!!??!! I will also add an editorial part to this one. To parent: Stop thinking trampoline is a great activity. You don't learn any motor skill or social skill bouncing around forever like an idiot, and you can seriously hurt you back, it won,t appear right away, but 5-10-15 years from now kids will have serious back injury to dealt with. I see kids in my neighborhood that can easily spend 5-6 hours a day (during summer) on that stupid trampoline this is sad and discouraging....
Very cool story about a grand father telling a story to is grand son, with what obviously look like a lot of exaggeration. An ode to imagination, magic and the importance of bringing that to children because that is the beauty of youth and this world lack of this! Great work!
I though I already review this one but it seem I didn't... Anyway, this was an interesting book about extreme abilities (physical and intellectual as well depending on the case). The book is organized in a way where it present a person, kind of a short biography, who had strange or unusual ability and then explain scientifically how that was possible or how it function. Intriguing funny facts that are always cool to learn about and a scientific explanations to go with it. Well done!
This book just ended my exploration of Veronica Roth books. Not saying she's a bad person, but she is a bad writer. Her story, her characters, even her writing look force, nothing feel natural or fluid. She did has a good timing at the time releasing Divergent a bit after the Hunger Games and the big YA boom, but after some years and a lot others writers of YA, she can figure on top of the list. This book wasn't good nor entertaining. I wouldn't recommend it!
Can't understand the outstanding reviews this book has. It isn't funny, it isn't really good neither and I start to get bored after 10 pages. Not for me!
