Recueil de reflexions philosophiques, themes varies, reflexions plus ou moins approfondis. Les textes sont interessants, mais aussi assez complexes a comprendre,qui peut meme sembler lourd par moment, necessitent parfois une lecture plus calme et plus lente pour bien comprendre et reflechir au sens du texte. Certaines sont bien actuelle, d'autres font un peu plus sentir le decalage avec l'epoque de laquelle date les ecrits. Bref ce n'est pas un cnq etoiles, mais definitivement un incontournable pour les fans de philosophie.

2,5/5. I had loved so much the movie adaptation with DiCaprio when I was young that I though this would be a great read. Unfortunately, I find it long, repetitive, and just not deep enough. It contains scene of drugs uses and basketball games and just not enough introspection has I would have like. Not what I was expecting and I was left on my appetite here...

Un livre de psycho-pop à propos des peurs. Remplis de citations et de réflexions simplistes. Un style enfantin même par moment surtout dans la partie artistique du livre, mais aussi dans son contenu. Vraiment pas pour moi. Si certaines personnes y trouvent quelques choses et que cela leur fait du bien c'est tant mieux, mais pour moi ce livre n'apporte pas grand chose.

This book is so hyped on Goodreads that I was scare of reading it because I though it might be over-hyped... but God no, every bit of hyped about this book is so much deserve! Nevernight is a fantastic book of what may be a masterpiece series (we will see but looking good). Everything about it is great. The story is awesome, but it strongest points are definitely the characters which are likable even if they're dark, they don't fall into easy clichés or stereotypes and they are deep and rich in substance, and the universe that Kristoff have created which is so good, original and very attractive, we want to be there, stay there and it's so easy to fall into it, everything is just well enough explain and always at the right time. Perfect! Mia, in her very basic aspect, made me think of Arya in Game of Thrones, so it's a character that you like, and that you would have wanted more of her, then there is i GOT, this book may worth looking at. I don't know if this is categorized has a YA or adult fantasy, but for me it clearly has it place in adult fantasy, yes the characters are teens (around 16 years old in this one) but they don't act like it, don't talk like it, don't do stupid love triangle like in most YA novels, so for me nothing to envy from adult novels here and a book that clearly has it's place in adult shelves and that fantasy readers from all age must read. Just to give you and brief idea, I would summarize it at taking Arya from GOT and put her in a Hogwarts of deadly assassins. If that doesn't get you into it...

Still the same comment as the first issue, except that after some issues, I find it a lot more easy to see the differences between the character, even if i still think that some of them seem a lot a like. The story goes well and the inteogue is very well implented event for a comic books, i fear in the beginning that it will come more simple than the book, but so far that not the case and the essence of the book are well represented!

Wow! I loved the unique style of that book. The illustration style and really follows the story! The story in itself is simple, but funny and entertaining. A really good surprise!

I never been the biggest Peanuts fans, but from what I remembered this was funnier. I didn't find this one funny, some make me smile a little but never really laugh. A bit disappointed.

2,5/5. Part of a collection I recently discover (first read astrology and palm reading) this one cover the meditation. This was by far the subject I already knew much about before reading the book, and I was a bit disappointed. It was a bit too spiritual for my taste, including the animal totem, the chakras, and more stuff like that. But at the same time it offer a wide variety of meditation with explanation and way to practice them. If your looking for different types of meditation, to change your or explore new one, this might be a interesting book, but that the only reason I would recommend it for.

I got this one for cheap on Bookoutlet. Being an HUGE fan of Tolkien books, movie adaptation, I even own The Ring. So I though I should buy this one. Nothing extraordinary, but beautiful pictures and the text present/explain the universe, the characters, the races, and more of this particular movie but also of the Tolkien world in general. Not necessary but the hardcore fans should like it. I did!

Just awesome!! Great idea/story. Amazing mixed of characters and a very promising series in hand!!
