Must have for tattoos lovers!! This book is great. It presented not only tattoo but the people who have them, with a very brief description of them and what tattoo means to them. Simple, but very original, artistic, good quality pictures. I love it!

A beautiful book with a beautiful concept. Unfortunately the mixed of texts and pictures are not that well matched together. Independently, the text part was good, some better then other like always, but good and the pictures where for most of them amazing. All in simplicity it presents some form of duality/union (in some we can also find more then one pair) of people or things. It's also, I think, some kind of celebration to the gathering, the bonding, of people together, of love in very different form. I liked the fact that the pictures where not «explain» no text at all, so you can just looked at them for quite some time actually trying to figures out the context or the link between the people there. Beautiful!

... not good. The illustrations are very average. There is actually no story and the «Who did it?» par is so easy that children will saw it from a mile away, unless the don,t know what a beaver is of course... Really a book you can pass on!

Always funny those books in this collection are light but very entertaining and with beautiful illustrations they will probably catch the attention of most kids!

This book is funny and interesting in its first half. We learn stuff about Moose with Whoopsie a funny character. Unfortunately in the second half, there is no more content and it's just absurd humor, some children with laugh at it because it's a children humor, but it's just become a bit too empty for me. First half 4 stars, second one 2, I go with a 3!

Not really for me. It wasn't that bad, but I didn't like the illustrations, the characters or the story, so definitely not my style. Some my like it... but I didn't!

After one of my biggest surprise of 2018 (not published but read in 2018) with The Dry (what a book!!), this one, Force of Nature, may be my biggest disappointment of the year!! Not even close to be in the same category then The Dry. Here are some points that made me dislike this book. The main character is the same has in The Dry, but failed to evolve and felt a bit short on reflexion or deeper though, we stay on the surface with him here, there his some small romance that could have bring some personal insight of him, but it didn't go anywhere... Second, the story is not thrilling, not creepy, and not good. We don't find ourself asking why all this is happening, everything happening seem forced into the story and unrealistic and the characters are so miserable that they could all die for all I care! Last point, in The Dry, yeah I know I compare again... we really feel the Australian atmosphere and it was a strong point in my reading experience. In this one, this could have happen anywhere and it wouldn't have done any difference. It look like a recipes book, where you take your check-list and follow (female characters checked, unreliable checked, family problems checked, etc.) and it look maybe a bit rush by the publisher that want to benefit from The Dry success... I don't know maybe I'm being paranoid here...anyway. I gave it three stars which is a bit generous I think, really close t be a two point five. It's not horrible, just below average and after a great book, my expectation were high and were not satisfied.
