A really great romance, with incredible characters and an intriguing background. It was really interesting seeing Gianna's story and getting the details on some of the things that happened in The prodigal son. Though I have to say that you should definitely read it before reading The prodigal son as some big plot twists will be spoiled for you. Nonetheless it was a really enjoyable book!

Overall it was a really enjoyable read, the only element that I felt was lacking was the murder mystery, it was a bit lackluster and not that eye-catching. The only part of the plot that was unfulfilled was what happened with Dante and Jude? I need more details!!

This whole book has altered my brain chemistry. After that ending I was like mindlessly trying to come to terms with it for like an hour. This book deserved 100% the five star rating just for all the feels it got me experiencing throughout the entirety of it. Noelle just has me shooookkk like WHATTT?? As she's the female protagonist I want to love her but what is revealed just has me at a enormous pause and heightened disbelief and shock. Overall the plot was slow but spot on every moment in this book had its purpose and as such I can easily say one of my favorite books from this author!!

Wow,! Just wow! I was quite unsure about when I realised it was a prequel rather than a continuation of the main story but I was completely blown away. This is by far one of the best and hardest books that I've read from this author. Michelle's past had me in tears more times than I could count. I was curious as to what had previously transpired for him to act the way he did and as always nothing is ever black or white and this story of these two brothers definitely fits into that mantra.

I absolutely devoured this book. No well and Raffaellos relationship just killed me in the spark. I can’t possibly explain how good is dark romance, hard me and it’s grasp. This book series. Overall, I completely recommend to anybody that loves or wants to get in to dark romance. Many people say that this fucker is dark, but in contrast to the morally corrupt series, this is like a walk in the park read the trigger warnings. Please do not read if you feel icked by any of them. Overall, I couldn’t stop reading this book as there weren’t any breaks throughout it.

This is one true enemies to lovers trope

This book had so much more depth to it, and heartbreaking moments that have still stayed with me. I would have read this wayyy quicker but exams are a pain in the ass, oh well, it was a ginormous leap from the last book (in a good way).
