Love that there is such a book out there and that it has gotten so popular.
Wished I had read it as a teenager although I did learn quite a bit dare I say that as an adult of 29years of age had not heard of before.
I was a bit thrown off by the informality of it at times and I think it should be more clear that the audience it targets it’s younger (mostly because of the language and format , not referring to the topic in of itself)
Will read Hanna’s other book Doing It! and see what I have been missing out on.
An overall good and easy read.

DID NOT FINISH

I had to DNF around 65% of this book.
Not for me.

I wanted to revisit this books that was engraved in my memory as a very strong and emotional read somewhere in my teenage years.
And now I remember more distinctly why.
Harsh subjects are being brought up yet in a natural and easy way to digest without dumb-ing them down which i now recognise that only a good writer can do.
This must have been the first of Jacqueline Wilson I ever read and having not read the famous Tracy Baker one I am excited to give it a go.
In my opinion, this is a must read.
