Heartbreaking 

Every word was necessary. I now what to read more from Isabella Hammad.

A wonderful addition to the queer YA canon. I especially liked the inter-gay discussions about masculinity, presentation, and identity.

Refreshing and strangely heartwarming.

An excellent sequel. Robin Hobb is so good at what she does.

A delight and just want I needed to get through some tough mental health days.

A really fun story about yearning for magic, even when it's messy.

Let me be clear: This book is immensely readable. As a thriller it does it's job probably better than average. However, it is by far the most ableist book I have read in a long time. This is made worse by the fact that the author has an autistic child himself. I read this book for a readathon, but I will definitely be avoiding this author in the future.

A fun book. I'll re-read it when my head is clearer.
