I had to return it to the library months ago.

It had a hold at the library and I wasn't getting into it. The blatant ableism on page 1 didn't help.

It was slow and I didn't like the writing enough to stick it out.

I just couldn't get into the writing style.

The events of the first few pages

and the ableist tone were too much for me at this time. Untlimately, I didn't enjoy the prose enough to keep going.

It wasn't bad, but I wasn't overly invested and then I got sick and felt I would not go back to it.
