After reading The Picture of Dorian Gray last year, I decided to buy this beautiful little book. And I'm not disappointed in it at all, as I absolutely loved it! It has definitely urged me to read his other works

I love fairy tales. And to have 'fairy' tales within a fantasy world is even better. It makes you feel even more a part of the wizarding world that JK Rowling created.
My favourite tale within The Tales of Beedle the Bard was The Warlock's Hairy Heart. It was gruesome, depressing and - quite literally - heartless. Haha!

Thank goodness I've finished it! Thumbs down for this book! According to my Kindle it should've taken me just short of three hours to read. TWO WEEKS IT TOOK! TWO WEEKS!!! *insert frustrated GIF here* and the reason it took so long to read was because in my opinion it was PANTS! Well, most of it was. I didn't mind some of the comical chapter titles, I suppose... They were alright.

An absolute genius! I love this man! His extremely wise words miraculously work in today's societies. I will always re-read this handy little book. Granted, not all of his quotes are in this book, but a whole lot of them are. I do adore books, and love to keep them crease-free and in pristine condition, but perhaps with this one I will highlight the quotes I simply adore the most. And ones that I feel are relevant in my life. Oscar Wilde; I'm so glad I have discovered your genius, and only regret not finding out about you sooner. Having already read Dorian Gray (which I've removed from my Goodreads 'read' list as I want to re-visit it) I can't wait to read the rest of his works.

I'm exhausted, devastated and elated all at the same time. I have no words to describe what I go through when reading the Harry Potter series. I did however, and without fail, cry once more at the death of one of my favourite characters. CURSE YOU JK ROWLING!! *insert weeping emoji x10 here*

I really loved this one. It's amazing how JK Rowling took that extra time in to creating these books for us all to have a further glimpse into the wizarding world. I only wish she'd do more, like A History of Magic and Snape's Advanced Potion-Making book. They would be epic!

I really enjoyed this. I liked how the author created a backstory that also included snippets from the Disney film, to then eventually piece it together with both the backstory and the film. I'm looking forward to reading the others that Valentino has written, especially Unfortunate Souls that will be released later this year, because Ursula is my favourite villain!

This was recommended to me via someone on Instagram, and usually I struggle with recs, because I worry I may not like it when someone else adores it. But in resent have worried because I loved it within the first few paragraphs.
I've not read a lot of YA and if I have it's ones that don't include romance (I'm romantically detached, you see.)
This did have a bit but I didn't mind. Maybe my steel heart is loosening, I don't know, but I thought it was cute. Or maybe it's because the main female protagonist was so... real. She was by far my favourite character and in some ways I could relate to her. She's kind, sarcastic, dry, caring, thoughtful and gullible. She knew her flaws and tried to find her strengths, and I think that was what made me feel she was a real person.
I felt that the story was well written. I also kept playing over in my mind what could happen next? What's in store with the other two books? What now?!
I will definitely be buying the other two of this trilogy, but right after I've read the Cursed Child because you know. Cursed Child.
