Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of Curds of Prey!  All opinions in this review are my own.

When Willa is asked to create a cheese bar for the upcoming wedding of Summer Harrington, Willa is thrilled for the opportunity for Curds & Whey!  Unfortunately, when the groom is found dead at the bridal shower and Willa is the one to find him, she has more to worry about than just the lost business opportunity.  Together with Archie and Mrs. Schultz, Willa must uncover the murderer before the wrong person gets blamed!

I love Korina Moss's Cheese Shop Mystery series and Curds of Prey was an excellent addition to it!  I always look forward to another visit to Yarrow Glen and Willa's cheese shop!  My favorite part is the recurring cast of characters, even if they are often blamed for the murders!  I love that this one kept me guessing until the very end!

Thank you SMP Romance and NetGalley for the ARC of Mistakes Were Made!  All opinions in this review are my own.

If you are looking for a spicy read right from the start, then I recommend Mistakes Were Made!  When Erin is picked up by a woman in a bar, she has no idea that it is one of her daughter's best friends.  While age gap romances are normally not my favorite, this one worked for me.  I really liked Cassie as a character and I like that although she was younger, she wasn't written immaturely.  I'm looking forward to reading more from this author!

Thank you Tundra Books, NetGalley, and Libro FM for the ARC and ALC of Someone is Always Watching!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I found this to be a mix between Don't Worry Darling and Divergent.  While the concept is what drew me to the book, there are times when it fell flat.  I was expecting a fast-paced book with a lot of twists.  There are some but this wasn't as consuming as I thought it would be and I struggled to get through the audiobook.

Double-Decker Dreams: A Novel

Lindsay MacMillan

DID NOT FINISH: 11%

Thank you Alcove Press and NetGalley for the ARC of Double Decker Dreams!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I had to DNF this book at 11%.  I didn't mind Kat daydreaming about the man she saw through her window on the bus, but it was starting to get old when he hadn't made an appearance at this point in the book.  Once Kat started having "conversations" with him on her trip to Bath, I couldn't read anymore.

Thank you Putnam and NetGalley for the ARC of Before I Do!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Sophie Cousens does it again! I loved Just Haven't Met You Yet and had high hopes starting Before I Do!  Luckily, it lived up to my expectations and I couldn't put it down!  I ended up reading Before I Do over the course of a day while relaxing in the sunshine!

I love books that play with the timeline when telling the story.  After an exciting opening, Before I Do details Audrey's relationships with Josh and Fred interspersed with the day leading up to her wedding.  I love how these flashbacks reveal more of Audrey's history as her present day is moving forward.  Before I Do will keep you guessing until the end and I can't recommend it enough!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the gifted copy of The Garden of Lost Secrets!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I loved The Paris Apartment so I was so excited to read her next book, The Garden of Lost Secrets!  As the name would suggest, the garden outside Chateau de Montissaire is an integral part of the story.  I love how it is able to bridge the past and present storylines.  Stasia and Nicolas's storyline was my favorite of the two, but I love how in the present day, they discover the historical secrets!  I can't wait for Kelly Bowen's next book!

Thank you BiblioLifestyle and William Morrow for the gifted copy of The Lost Summers of Newport!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I LOVED this book!  If you are a fan of Fiona Davis, you have to read The Lost Summers of Newport!  I love how the house and the secrets it holds acts as a character tying the three timelines together.  I also loved how clues were revealed so you start to realize how connected the three timelines really were.  I can't wait to read more from these three authors!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the ARC of Kamila Knows Best!  All opinions in this review are my own.

As a romance, I didn't love this one.  I think it was the slowest burn that I have ever read.  However, I did love it as a friendship novel.  Kamila has an amazing group of friends and I love the parties that she throws!  I also liked that it explored how Kamila felt like she had to do everything and the toll that it took on her.  Not my favorite romance, but a great novel in its own right!

Thank you Partner BiblioLifestyle and Mariner for the gifted copy of Social Engagement!  All opinions in this review are my own.

This book is definitely not for everyone.  Forrey takes on the current wedding culture and explores the relationship of the haves vs. the have nots.  If you are not interested in a sharp commentary on how couples pair off and plan elaborate weddings, then this may not be the book for you.

The first half of Social Engagement was so good!  There were many times that Forrey's sharp observations made me laugh out loud.  Unfortunately, the second half of the book became more focused on Callie's own internal struggle and I missed the larger social commentary.  Overall, this is a quick read filled with great writing.

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of A Brush With Love!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I DNFed the first Mazey Eddings book I tried to read so I went into A Brush With Love with no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised!  In the beginning, the characters seemed very immature, but over time, they really grew on me and I like how their relationship evolved.  Eddings describes having anxiety really well and I think a lot of readers can connect to this aspect.  A Brush With Love makes me want to give Eddings another chance with the third book in the series!
