Thank you Grand Central and NetGalley for the gifted copy of The Glorious Guinness Girls!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I loved the dual timeline in the beginning of the story and how there was this big secret that Felicity must try to hide.  However, I feel like the second half of the book lost this thread.  It stopped switching between timelines as often and focused more on the girls growing up in society.  I would have liked to see the secret be more dramatic in the current time period than how it eventually turns out.

That being said, I'm still curious about the sequel, Mummy Darlings, and how the girls are faring later in life!

Thank you Partner William Morrow and BiblioLifestyle for the gifted copy of Midsummer Mysteries!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I am slowly making my way through Agatha Christie's catalog so when BiblioLifestyle offered a book tour of Midsummer Mysteries, I jumped at the chance!

While I enjoy Christie's novels more because she has more time to show her craft, this short story collection is a perfect summer read!  I like that many of the stories are pretty short so it is easy to read one or a few in a sitting.  I also like that this collection showcases her favorite characters like Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of Part of Your World!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I am finally making my way through my backlog of NetGalley titles and I love finding new favorites!  I don't know if it was the age gap, the instant chemistry, or the baby goat that did it for me but I loved Part of Your World!  This should come as no surprise because I love Abby Jimenez!

I think my favorite thing about Part of Your World is that Daniel and Alexis both are fully developed characters.  Not only do we get both of their points of view, but they each have their own sets of problems and their own lives.  I felt like this helped me really enjoy both of their perspectives and made me root for them to get together more!

I have already started recommending this romance to everyone I talk to!

Thank you Knopf Doubleday and NetGalley for the eARC of Paradise Falls!  All opinions in this review are my own.

This book was fascinating!  I knew nothing about Love Canal and its aftermath before starting Paradise Falls.  It's sad to see that people are still being forced from their homes due to environmental concerns 50 years later.

Thank you Partner Bibliolifestyle and Black Stone Publishing for the gifted copy of Breaking In!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Millie's dream is to become a filmmaker and wants to make a movie based on her dad's final heist.  However, when a struggling director reveals he is making an eerily similar movie, Millie knows she needs to take action.  Like any good heist movie, Millie hires her team and begins to make a plan.

I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I had a stronger background in heist movies.  While you can appreciate it without it, I'm sure some of the tropes were lost on me.  There were sections of this book that were exciting, but I got lost when the chapters were constantly switching locations.  While the short chapters help to propel the story forward, they worked better when everyone was in the same place.  However, like any good heist movie, the ending is exciting!

Thank you Tandem Collective Global and WattPad for the gifted copy of Revelations!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Fair warning, Revelations picks up immediately after the first book, so be careful looking too far into the series just yet!  Without spoiling anything, as much as I enjoyed Belle Morte, Revelations is fast from the beginning and never slows down.  Now that the world has already been explained, Revelations has the opportunity to be all action with a few wild twists thrown in.  Can't wait to see what book three brings!

Thank you Tandem Collective Global and WattPad for the gifted copy of Belle Morte!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Belle Morte is an excellent introduction into this world where vampires are celebrities and have a set donor system organized.  I loved the mystery of  Renie trying to find out what happened to her sister because it allows this book to have both a fantasy and thriller vibe.  Add in Edmond and it is starting to lean into the romance genre too!

Thank you Harper Perennial for the gifted copy of The Month of Borrowed Dreams!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Unfortunately, I am DNFing this book at 55%.  I put it down for a week and when I came back to it, I struggled to pick up where I had left off.  Part of the problem could be that this was the first book that I tried reading in the Finfarran Peninsula series, despite it being the fourth in the series.  I loved the small community of characters, but I felt like I was missing a lot of their shared history.

Thank you, BiblioLifestyle and Kensington Books for the gifted copy of Paper Cuts!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I love the Secret, Book, and Scone Society series!  While I always look forward to a return to Miracle Books, Paper Cuts is by far the strongest book in the series.  I love how we learn more and more about Nora's past with each book.  Paper Cuts really brings it to the forefront in an exciting mystery centered around an expensive book collection!

If you like cozy mysteries, small towns, great friendships, and books, then you have to read the Secret, Book, and Scone Society series!

Thank you to Forever for the gifted copy of Our Last Goodbye!  All opinions in this review are my own.

May cannot catch a break!  Everything bad happens to this poor woman!  I like that the focus for this World War II historical fiction novel is how May is affected by the war.  I feel like most other WWII include heroic actions by the main characters, but May is just a normal woman trying to live her life during this difficult time.

I wish I had known that this is a sequel to Orphan Sisters so I could have read it first.  However, it is possible to read Our Last Goodbye without reading Orphan Sisters first.
