Thank you PRH Audio and Libro FM for the ALC of Undercover Latina!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I ended up liking Undercover Latina way more than I thought I would!  Despite being labelled as a middle grade novel and focusing on a family of spies, it wasn't as silly as I initially thought it would be.  Undercover Latina deals with some heavier issues and the characters seemed age appropriate without being too juvenile.  I am really interested in checking out the prequel that focuses on Amani!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of The Block Party!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I loved the set up of this thriller!  From the start of the book, you know that something has happened, but you are not quite sure what.  The Block Party takes you back through the year leading up to the Memorial Day party.  I liked that not only were you trying to figure out who the suspect was, but also who the victim was!  After each section there were also posts from the community speculating on what had happened which were really funny to read.  I can't wait to read more from this author!

Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the eARC of A Cold Highland Wind!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Despite being the 17th book in the series, this was my first Lady Emily mystery.  I didn't expect the two timelines so I was really curious to see how they would connect after the mystery had already been presented in Lady Emily's timeline.

While this was a quick read, I had a hard time being truly immersed in the mystery.  I loved the setting but I think the short chapters from one timeline to the other confused me at times.  I also think I would have liked it better as an audiobook for the Scottish pronunciations.

Thank you Putnam Books and NetGalley for the eARC of The Good Part!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Sophie Cousens is one of my favorite authors so when I found out she wrote a book with a similar concept to 13 Going On 30, I knew I had to read it!  While Lucy is more 24 going on 42, The Good Part was such a good read!  Cousens does an excellent job at expressing the impatience of waiting for the "good part" to happen when you are struggling in your 20s.  Lucy just wants to feel settled in her life and over the course of the novel, she learns that each stage of her life has both good and bad experiences.  The Good Part made me both laugh out loud and tear up once again proving why I read all of Cousens's books!

At the end of the book, Cousens includes a section where she asked people in her life "What advice would you give your twenty-six-year-old self?"  The answers are both funny and heartfelt, and definitely worth a read through.

Thank you Ivy Press and NetGalley for the eARC of Formula One: The Legends!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Formula One: The Legends is a fascinating book for both new and old fans alike!  It offers short overviews of all the major racers throughout F1's history.  It is full of photos and shows the evolution of the cars.  This book also highlights how dangerous the sport can be, especially in the early seasons.  Overall, this is a great introduction into the sports biggest racers past and present!

Formula One: The Legends would make an excellent gift for any F1 fan and is available on March 12th!
