Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the eARC of Of Hoaxes and Homicide!  All opinions in this review are my own.

While I did enjoy the first book of the Dear Miss Hermione series, I loved the sequel!  Of Hoaxes and Homicide was such a fun adventure mystery focused on a cult and magic.  I didn't love Sephora, Violet's younger sister, in the first book, but her contributions in the second mystery were so much better!  I devoured this mystery and I can't wait to read the next one!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of A Love Catastrophe.  All opinions in this review are my own.

Helena Hunting is a hit or miss author for me and unfortunately this one was a miss.  The main characters just seemed too stereotypical.  Miles is a dog owner that cannot understand how anyone could love cats while Kitty meows when she talks.

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of The Second Chance Year!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I don't know what it is but lately I have really enjoyed books that have an element of time travel in them and this one did not disappoint!  In The Second Chance Year, Sadie has the opportunity to relive her Very Bad Year.  While it was at times predictable, I really liked watching Sadie grow and seeing how even though some things still go wrong in her Second Chance Year, she is able to achieve what she wants in a different way than she originally expected to.  While there is a romance, The Second Chance Year is more about Sadie and her growth as a character.

Thank you St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the eARC of Off The Map!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Despite being a shorter read, Off The Map is able to pack in a lot of emotions.  While Carla does make some questionable decisions at times, it was really fun to travel around Ireland with her and Eamon.  Off The Map does take a very heavy turn in the second and gets very emotional.  Based on the beginning, I wasn't expecting it but it did make me like the book even more.  I just wish the ending wasn't so rushed.  This book is less than 300 pages and the events at the end could have been spaced out a little farther.

I've only read two out of the three Beck Sister novels but I have really enjoyed this series!  I still need to read the first one but I'm sad to see it end!

Thank you Dutton and NetGalley for the eARC of Old Enough!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I picked up Old Enough kind of on a whim.  I don't always love the messiness that comes with characters in their early 20s but I am so glad I read Old Enough!  While some of it deals with heavier topics, most of Old Enough is about figuring out who you are and finding your people.  Sav trying to navigate friendships she has had for years with the woman she has become is a relatable problem that I don't know if enough people give consideration to.  I think a lot of people will be able to relate to Sav's struggle of being true to herself while still being close to people who she has known all of her life.

I am looking forward to reading more from Haley Jakobson!
