Thank you Harper Perennial for the ARC of The Royal Correspondent. All opinions in this review are my own.
This is the third book in a row that I have DNFed so I'm starting to think the problem is me. I made it 8% through this book before stopping. I thought that because the book is called The Royal Correspondent, it would take place in London (which is my own fault for not rereading the back). The beginning takes place in Australia with no trip to England in sight. I stopped reading when I realized I was just rushing to get to this part because I don't know how far into it I would have to read to get there. The synopsis sounds so good but I think I'm just too impatient to wait for the story to catch up to it. I'm also a little bit worried that the synopsis gives too much away.
Thank you Avon and BiblioLifestyle for the gifted copy of The Wall of Winnipeg and Me. All opinions in this review are my own.
I'm worried this is becoming a pattern because this is the second book in a row I DNFed. I only made it 8% into this one before deciding I couldn't finish it. Hate or dislike to love is always a tough trope for me. Add in the power dynamic between boss and assistant and I'm out. I know he is probably secretly in love with her but this is too long of a romance for me to wait that long to find out.
Thank you Kensington and BiblioLifestyle for the ARC of The Novelist of Berlin. All opinions in this review are my own.
Unforunately this book was not for me and I DNFed it at 26%. I didn't love the main character to begin with but what really stopped me from continuing reading was when the main character said something along the lines of are they the only person in Germany who believes the Nazis are evil. I couldn't continue after that.

Thank you St. Martin's Griffin and NetGalley for the eARC of Fly With Me! All opinions in this review are my own.
I know this is very early in the year to say this but I think Fly With Me is going to be my favorite read of this year. I absolutely adored Stella and Olive! Olive had me laughing from the opening chapter and I looked forward to reading it every time I picked the book up. As I say constantly, fake dating is my favorite romance trope so I was an easy sell for reading Fly With Me in the first place but the depth and range of emotions that the characters go through is so good! I can't believe this was only Andie Burke's debut and I am impatiently awaiting Derek's story in her next book!

Thank you Boldwood Books and NetGalley for the eARC of The Love Interest! All opinions in this review are my own.
Liv has always wanted to write her own romance novel but she struggles for inspiration for her leading man. When she unconsciously bases her love interest on her brother's best friend Aiden, she realizes that she has feelings for him too.
Hate to love is always tricky for me because if the characters hate each other too much in the beginning, it's hard to convince me that they then fall for each other. Walters does this trope well by making Aiden always have feelings for Liv and Liv just being mad about a miscommunication between them from years ago . I found the pacing to be a little slow, but once Liv and Aiden got together, I really enjoyed it!

Thank you Epigram Books and Tandem Collective Global for the gifted copy of The Formidable Miss Cassidy! All opinions in this review are my own.
While I was interested to read The Formidable Miss Cassidy from the start, it was not what I was expecting in a good way! I had no idea it would have such a supernatural focus and through all of her adventures, it made me appreciate Miss Cassidy more as a character. I also like she moves a few times during the book because each part was better than the last!
It was so much fun to read The Formidable Miss Cassidy as a global readalong with Tandem! I can't believe we had so many countries represented, but also the biggest global readalong so far! It was so much fun being able to read the book at the same time!

Thank you Harper Perennial for the gifted copy of Pandora! All opinions in this review are my own.
Okay it definitely took me way too long to finally get to this one, but I clearly missed out! I loved this historical fiction novel with a touch of mystery! Despite some magical undertones, I like how you are never quite sure if the vase is the cause of everything. I loved Edward and Dora as characters and I can't wait for the next book from Stokes-Chapman!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of Bookshop Cinderella! All opinions in this review are my own.
If you like historical romance and the movie She's All That, you have to read Bookshop Cinderella! It is full of lovable characters and I like that Evie is in on the bet from the beginning. Rather than having her seen as a poor bookish woman who needs to be helped, Evie is a strong character who is able to keep her business afloat and make decisions for herself. I also loved that we had so much of Max's inner thoughts because we got to find out how hard he fell for from the beginning and how jealous he is of her relationship with Rory. I can't wait to read more from this author!
