Liv has always wanted to write her own romance novel but she struggles for inspiration for her leading man.  When she unconsciously bases her love interest on her brother's best friend Aiden, she realizes that she has feelings for him too.

Hate to love is always tricky for me because if the characters hate each other too much in the beginning, it's hard to convince me that they then fall for each other.  Walters does this trope well by

making Aiden always have feelings for Liv and Liv just being mad about a miscommunication between them from years ago

.  I found the pacing to be a little slow, but once Liv and Aiden got together, I really enjoyed it!
